What is your child (or dog!) dressing up as for Halloween? Before you go searching the shops for a new costume, only for it to be worn once, do check out preloved and second-hand apps and shops first!

Apps like YoungPlanet, eBay and Vinted frequently have costumes listed on there, especially when drawing closer to an occasion that needs one. Many charity shops also put out costumes and accessories in October, and there are always places like Facebook Marketplace and Shpock to browse. Better for the environment and your budget 😉

What to expect when you work with me?

Once you have made an enquiry, I will offer you a free consultation, which is usually carried out by the telephone. We discuss your aims and goals for your home and the areas you would like to declutter and organise. This is a really helpful discussion as it gets you to think about your home and what you want from it. How can your home support your life?

I will then ask for photos or videos of the area(s) and any relevant measurements for storage options.

There is never any judgement. My job is to help you get the most from your space and reap the benefits from a decluttered and organised home. ❤️

🕯️ Are you a Candle person? 🕯️
Well if you are, todays task is to get rid of any that are completely used up, or ones your not keen on the smell of.

Did you know…if you have one where you love the jar but the candle is all gone, you can pop it in a saucepan of boiling water and melt the last little bit, clean out the jar and melt a new candle and refill the jar or just keep it for decoration! 💕

Getting started can be hard. Our marvelous brains are wired to keep us safe so we have thoughts like “What if I fail?”, “Change is hard” and “Maybe later”.

We can always do something. We always have options. If we can’t change a circumstance we can choose to change our perspective. We can change our thoughts to gentle self-encouragement “I’m growing”, “The time is now” and “Let’s try”. Break it down to the smallest step possible. Whatever your goal, what CAN you do? And then do it!

Just finished off my Autumn display in my hallway with a cute string pumpkin that I made myself and some acorns I picked up on our dog walk today!

Do you love a simple life?

For anyone that doesn’t know…my girls are homeschooled and have started their own little business selling these.
They did their research, designed them on Canva, had the cards printed, filled the reindeer foods and put everything together. They are 12 and 14 and are little entrepreneurs! They would just like to sell some now to earn some pennies 😊

It’s great for reducing waste and giving things a new home. Food or Non Food items 😁

After helping clients to go through their clothes and decide what to keep, I always recommend these velvet hangers. Not only are they slimline and nice looking, they also keep the clothes from sliding off!
