Chicken katsu curry, such an easy sauce to make. Just sweat half a chopped onion with 2 cloves of crushed garlic and 2 chopped medium carrots for 10 minutes, lid on. Then add 2 tbsp of plain flour and 1 tbsp curry powder and cook out for a minute then slowly add 600ml of chicken or vegetable stock. Add 1 tbsp of soy sauce, 2 tsp of clear honey and 2 tsp of grated ginger plus salt and pepper. Simmer on a medium to low heat for 15-20 minutes then blend with a stick blender. Serve with breaded chicken, pork or tofu, rice and salad.

I’m not normally a fan of overly processed food but these look good when you’re pushed for time. Only two ingredients; potatoes and sunflower oil. Most other oven chips contain dextrose (glucose substitute) along with some other unnecessary ingredients.

Can I use this for my CPD🤔
Instead of counting calories if you follow my healthy plate guidelines at every meal and limit consumption of ultra-processed snacks and beverages, you should see healthy, sustainable body fat loss.
This is a good example of how smart watches and gym machines vary so much in how they record calories burned. Just a little reminder that they cannot be fully relied on when working out a calorie deficit. Future post coming on what to do instead.
