Valentine's flapjacks
Happy Valentines Day! Hope you're all having a love-filled day. We're having a virtual party with cousins later... If you fancy some super simple baking today, here is a (very unprofessional) cook-a-long that I filmed for my children's school, making thumb print flapjacks. ❤️
You will need the following to join in:
Ingredients:
150g unsalted butter
75g golden syrup (approx. 3 tbsp)
150g soft light brown sugar (or any sugar is fine!)
350g porridge oats (rolled oats are a bit too crumbly)
A pinch of salt
Jam
Equipment:
Baking trays lined with baking paper
Weighing scales
Wooden spoon
Ice cream scoop / spoon
Small bowl of water
Blunt knife.
