The plants selected by Matthew will surround this gravel fire pit area, and together with two other patio areas, our customer will be spoilt for choice and entertaining space. We’ve had another busy year!! ‘I’ve been running my business for 20 years now, which seems nothing short of a miracle having gone from job to job in my previous life! After leaving Sales and entering the world of Horticulture and Landscaping I knew I had found my passion. The idea of being able to Design and create a garden, to be able to put my own stamp on it definitely appealed to me. I went to Berkshire College of Agriculture in 2004 to study Garden Design with Plantsmanship, to extend my knowledge of the Industry and learn how to run a business more effectively.. Being my own boss has been really rewarding, but at times has been quite daunting and can feel very solitary, especially when you are the one who takes on all the stress and responsibility. It hasn’t been easy to establish myself and you have to dig deep sometimes and have the determination and resilience to keep going! It all came down to believing in myself and in what I was doing, having a strong supportive team around me and a formula that people love. The gardens we build require a lot of skill and attention to detail and take years to perfect!’ Here’s to another 20 years! Thanks for following, and I hope that you are also doing what you love to do, and believe in yourself to do better and find your place in this world.
