Meet the Artist: Sarah Campbell
I loved to paint and draw as a child and this naturally led to my study of art and design at GCSE level. My passion for art continued as I studied it for my A-levels also. Painting and drawing became a hobby that I dipped into over the years. I used my creative skills during my 19 year teaching career.
Over the last year I have had more time to dedicate to my art work. I enjoy watercolour painting and painting with acrylics. I have also experimented combining acrylics and watercolours with pencil and pens. I like to create floral images that highlight the delicate and beautiful natural world around us.
I applied to join the Moat House Community Art Group to exhibit in the Medway Open Studios. This will be my first ever exhibition and I am truly honoured in being able to show my work alongside the other artists and I am looking forward to sharing my love for art during the exhibition.
