Hatties is on the corner of Playels yard which is a private road, but nevertheless a road. Please take care to look and make sure it’s clear before crossing. Two lads on bikes ( who shouldn’t be on the pavement anyway) darted straight out in front of me as I was pulling out slowly looking first to the right of the pavement(which is when they said I should have been looking and gave me abuse, but unfortunately I can only look one way at a time and they shot out from the left). Over the years I’ve also noticed young children and adults go straight over this turning without stopping to look. I come out of there very slowly and am always conscious that someone could be stepping out in front of me. One of the young cyclists stopped but the other one was in front of me in a flash obviously going at speed. Please all be careful at that junction. Thanks Diane
