Videos by 306 Runcorn Squadron RAF Air Cadets in Runcorn. 306 (Runcorn) Squadron RAFAC parade at Crown Gate Barracks, Tuesday and Friday from 19:00-21:30.
On Saturday the 6th of July, 12 of our cadets attended an Initial Weapons Training Course for the CZS200 Air Rifle, held at 969 St Helens Sqn.
This course consisted of the two sessions learning about the elements of an air rifle, along with how to fire it and any stoppages that may happen during a shoot. On top of this, they learned the safety procedures set in place for handling air rifles.
The day was filled with educational opportunities, and we are happy to announce all cadets passed their final assessment. This means they can now attend a shooting course for the CZS200 Air Rifle and earn more badges!
Well done to the cadets for successfully completing their Initial Weapons Training and a huge thank you to Plt Off Kelly and APO Camborne-Paynter for helping throughout the day.👏
