Chicken Pulao granny’s recipe! We get a lot of repeat orders for this one humble oh so simple dish yet bursting with flavour, vibe, and nutrition. Vegan and Vegetarian options available.

Try it to believe it! It’s a whole meal in itself - our little one enjoys this with some plain A2 (cassein free) pastured yogurt sprinkled with a spoon of pastured organic ghee and jaggery!

‘Tis the season of “CHAAT”. The typical Indian street food that’s been personalised all around the world!! A lot of you have asked us to create the “chatpata”’style foods such as “bhelpuri” and “samosa chaat” not to mention “aloo tikki chaat”.

Chaat is typically sweet sour spicy and tangy all at once. Here is what we created for our recent guests.

A Samosa chaat made up of two vegetable samosas on a bed of chick pea curry slathered with our own red sauce and tamarind chutney over some yogurt. A must try for those street foodies!

Hello lovely friends!

Some of you already know our little 5 year old is autistic. He is mainly on a gluten and cassein free diet. We keep it as clean organic and whole as possible! That of course doesn’t mean that we cook boring food.. but, we get more inventive in the kitchen.

Today, as we were creating a kids version of butter chicken, we decided to make one that’s suitable for gluten and cassein restricted diets too. Here we also added a spoon of clean greens blend, some coconut cream, and very minimalist spices. Ayurveda recommends cilantro which reduces metal toxicity for the brain, together with cumin and turmeric.

Our aim is simply to bring wholesome nutrition to our little one and reduce the stress that comes with being highly sensitive in the hope that his gifts will continue to shine through without compromising his gut brain or overall wellbeing.

Here is a little snap of what we made with some white basmati rice sautéed in coconut oil.

Yummy mutter wala Kheema is a very popular dish. In Nairobi there was a lovely restaurant in an old alley which Papa and Mumiji used to take us to. Ooof the butter dripping from those hot off the tandoor phoolkas (wheat rotis) with freshly made keema was simply magical. We have attempted to recreate this in our very own Mutter Kheema here highly recommended!

We have just one more slot left this week and that is tomorrow 20th June. Order your meal by 10pm tonight for delivery or collection kesho (tomorrow!). Next week two more slots left on Thursday 27th and Friday 28th.

Homemade kids pizzas! Are you sick and tired of going places even kids parties getting served with the same menu? Usually the ultra processed chicken nuggets which by the way are not pure chicken (read the labels!), sandwiches made of bread that is high in salt sugar gluten and other ingredients, mayonnaise again high in salt and sugar, and not to mention crisps and crackers full of sugar salt additives and more!

Here are our homemade pizzas made with a non maize, free from gluten flour, with a tomato sauce with hidden sweet potato and parsnips for our children because they are worth it. We offer a choice of a plant based cheese or a dairy cheese. We also do a variety of bakes such as our homemade broccoli cauliflower potato bake which comes as vegan or vegetarian.

Remember our meals are all made to order and will keep two days in the fridge or three months in the freezer.

Ordering a homemade meal means you can have it tailored to your special preferences for example:

We have zero ready made sauces and do not use ready mixed spices that are store bought. We make our own spice blends which are passed down generations.

We take a limited amount of orders every week which means you won’t be competing with multiple orders on rhe same day ensuring a greater attention to detail.

For us to be able to sit relaxed and calm to enjoy our daily breakfast as a family is priceless treasure. We time backwards to work out how long it will take to do the food prep, serve and enjoy it. Bedtime the night before, allowing for time for wakefulness, morning meltdowns and more gets all factored so we can make it to the family breakfast.

We serve a cooked breakfast and try to vary this. Today, our little man had his eggs cooked in organic coconut oil with turmeric, Celtic salt and our special masala blend (very small pinch), and a couple of gluten free parathas made with lots of organic coconut oil. Being an ingredient only household, cooking and food prep has become a way of life for us. And we love it. It gives us control of what goes into our mouths. We became a lot more stricter when little one came - it can take a good few years before the effects of any preservatives such as glyphosate can show.

Ready made cereals and instant meals simply don’t cut it. We can in the time it takes to serve cereal boil some eggs, or if you are vegan, maybe try a Besan Chila which is a pancake batter made with gram flour spiced or sweetened. We make these too serving with macadamia butter and organic dates.

4, We only deliver up to 6pm, thereafter collection up to 8pm

We deliver meals hot or safely chilled. Chilled meals can all be reheated in the same packaging bar the lids.

We cater for large group orders for which we need at least two weeks notice. These places do get booked up so it is always best to block your booking slot well in advance.

We are not a restaurant. We do not mass produce. We do not have ready made sauces. It is all really curated from scratch. We will take care in every meal that is prepared and for that reason it will take more than a 20 minute wait! We ask for a day. This is not a quick fix meal. And most definitely not an instant one.

If you are looking for something authentic especially made for you, then go ahead and make that change from instant gratification to savouring that wait.

Plan your weekly meals. It is when we get too tired that we fall into the trap of instant fixes. Some days we are more tired. Plan in advance!

We are proud to announce our afternoon tea in corroboration with Mama Kee’s Au Chocolat a new and upcoming chocolate maker specialising in Raw Vegan chocolate made in three choices of sweetness, made without any dairy, no preservatives, no additives, no SOYA, no GLUTEN and a whopping 65 percent of cocoa solids making it a decadent treat full of polyphenols. It really is a chocolate you can indulge in without the guilt.

Our own products will range from Cauliflower Fritters, Aloo Pakora and much much more! And let’s not forget our very own recipe of chai tea masala which really is one of a kind, because we cater for you, and you are truly one of a kind! And while you enjoy this indulgence, our very own favourite Bex Henna will be there to adorn your hands with beautifully designed organic henna! The experience itself is deeply relaxing because the henna cools and soothes.

We say no to GMOS, which means our samosas have no corn starch or corn flour. We now know more about how the lining of our gut linking to mental health is affecting us all. Here we are taking those baby steps to playing our part.

It is the day to day drudgery, the sheer amount of demands we have not to mention all the free radicals and environmental toxins we are silently bombarded with.
