Shaded white applied above dado rail Matt finish.
Radiator covers sourced assembled and fitted to all radiators.
Shetland burber spice 50% wool carpet fitted to stairs & landing.
All new & original door furniture polished and fitted back to all doors.
Mirrors base coated and finished in brilliant white satin to complete.

Funny little things, Dads been gone now since 2020 but still when fitting carpets, I’m reminded he’s still around when using his scissors with name etched on. And still get the occasional white feather. Does make me think is he checking up on me to make sure I’m fitting the way he taught me. Miss ya Dad ❤️

12 mm underlay topped with Anthracite carousel twist carpet.

Having a debate with myself, anyone that looks and my work page, how would you rather see photos, before photos to finished or finished to before.
Admittedly fished photos first make your page look nicer but I feel it’s against the grain going backwards.

Inspiration Tuesday…….. Farrow & Ball Green Smoke

Bathroom refresh, paint had lifted in areas,
stripped back to solid and coated with Zinsser Peel stop.
Once dry feathered out and contract Matt applied.
Ceiling painted using durable Matt brilliant white emulsion.
Walls finished in durable Jasmine white emulsion.
Vents installed to unit, grouting cleaned and sealed with grout sealer.
New silicone beading to complete. 🙂

Latest project completed, complete removal of old bathroom. All pipe work and waste pipes renewed and re positioned. New low energy spot lights installed, cabling for new illuminated mirror and extractor.
Strengthen flooring, niche, plaster-boarding.
Ceiling decorated brilliant white acrylic.
Wall tiles installed floor to ceiling.
Floors tiles installed with fibre adhesive.
New shower base, screen, basin unit and toilet fitted marble top and brushed brass fixtures and fittings.

Small back bedroom decoration. Formally bathroom.
Walls and ceiling stripped, repaired & skimmed.
All flattened using the Mirka dustless machine.
Base coated walls finished in Pecific pearl, ceiling finished in fresh Granite and all woodwork finished in black satin.
Floor secured, 10mm underlay and anthracite carousal plus fitted to complete

Small bathroom redec, small amount of tiling and new non slip lvt midnight flooring.

Dining room redecoration. All walls and ceiling prepped, filled & sanded.
Light weight coving installed and painted.
Walls and ceiling based coated followed by soft sheen emulsion on walls and brilliant white matt emulsion on ceiling.
All woodwork sanded and prepped and painted using aqua based system with gloss finish.
Feature wall wallpapered in Navy Blue.

Cottage completed, and final exterior of 2023.
Windows were in a pretty bad way but not rotten.
Heavily sanded and primed, followed by flexible undercoat and flexible white gloss.
Prepped masonry/ brick work, removed Ivy and applied 2 coats of Sandtex ivory stone.
Replaced timbers on canopy, primed and finished in stormshield.
Front door sanded and two coats of walnut wood stain applied to finish.

My final exterior of 2023, will keep me busy until next week, the final count down is on ;-)
