Great to see one of my floral designs land on the shelves at George Home - Asda for SS24 as part of a freelance project for a bedding supplier last year

The colours have been tweaked making it much more fresh than my original, perfect for Spring

I loved creating this soft yet heavily covered floral repeat pattern with a mixture of big pillowy blooms and small wild flowers

My other half surpassed himself this year, gifting me a Tom’s Studio refillable ink pen. It’s not only beautiful to look at but a joy to use. It comes with changeable tips and you can refill it with different colour inks and I love it!!

Can’t wait to start some new illustrations and excited to see what exciting new projects 2024 brings my way ✨

Hand painted florals

I’ve used my trusty watercolours a lot this season. Love the soft, relaxed, watery quality they give to a print design
Can’t wait to tidy these blooms up and put them into repeat for a printed bedding design

Have to pinch myself some days that I get to do this as my job. Spending the day drawing my favourite subjects 🖊️🌾 love starting a new freelance project

it’s feeling particularly springlike in Manchester today so feeling inspired to draw summer blooms…the common Bindw**d, I just love how this w**d wraps itself around whatever it comes across, spreading the beauty of nature in its path 🌱
