2️⃣ Needle Felting on Fabric/Canvas: A new twist on needle felting! Join us for two sessions where we’ll explore this technique on fabric or canvas, adding a unique textured dimension to your creations. 🖼️

3️⃣ Hand-Embroidered Christmas Ornaments: You asked for it! There will be one date just for creating stunning hand-embroidered Christmas ornaments, so you can add a personal touch to your holiday decor. ✨

🌟 About Me 🌟

Hi, I’m Greta! I’ve lived in Manchester for about 10 years, but my journey began in Germany, where I was born nearly 36 years ago. I’m passionate about arts and crafts, a love that has blossomed into my business, Love To Craft Mcr, where I get to share this joy with others.

I live in Sale with my husband and our two daughters. Despite not being a huge fan of exercise, I’ve run two half marathons and dream of one day completing a full marathon (it will most likely stay a dream forever).

Travel is a great passion of mine. At 19, I embarked on a trip around the world, and a few years later on a year abroad with Uni South America stole my heart, especially Argentina – it’s where I met my husband!

I love being organised and I always have a project on the go. I don’t go anywhere without my todo list and I feel lost without it.

If I had to tell a random fact about myself, it would be that I once danced in a music video with Kylie Minogue…in Mumbai in Bollywood, on the second day of my world trip many years ago. And yes, for a split second you can see me dancing in the music video 🤣🙈.

Today marks our 6 wedding anniversary 💍 and I picked out a few (of so many) pics.

Having our friends and family with us for the whole day to laugh, party, eat, drink and just celebrate together was the best! ♥️ It was pretty much a DIY wedding and so many of our friends and family helped bringing together our perfect day (which was also our song for the first dance).

Things guests still talk about is the Photo Booth in a camper van, the chippy that came later on so everyone could have a second meal (after a grazing board, pie and mash and lots of delicious homemade cake). There were lawn games and a candy bar. Kids had little goodie bags with cameras (where I had the pics developed and made an album for each child later on)…

What guests also remember is the RyanAir strike the days before the wedding, which left quite a few guests stranded 🤣🙈 - with some of the most important guests just about making it (at 11pm the night before the wedding, in a taxi from Birmingham) - but everyone made it in the end. And that’s all that counts.

We’re at .mkt on Sunday with a very special Father’s Day Craft 🥰.

This is a free event put on by this amazing venue that you can simply book on via eventbrite (I will add the link to my bio) and it runs between 10 and 12 o clock.

We will decorate photo holders and make fabulous cards. I can’t wait for it! It’s going to be fab! 🥰♥️

You guys know I love to create a birthday breakfast! Coming up with ideas, baking, embroidering, making makes me incredibly happy. It relaxes me. It’s my yoga 🧘🏼‍♀️.

This year my big girl is really into Egypt, Nefertiti especially, so we managed to source an old Nefertiti mould and filled it with chocolate and painted it with food colouring - the amazement was real when we found out that it actually worked (she also fell of the cake several times, but luckily survived 🤣).

The birthday wreath 🌷 is another tradition around the birthday child’s plate - I ended up calling my mum desperately asking which flowers to buy as I clearly have no idea. She used to make my wreath when I was little.

You all know the birthday bunting with photos from the last year, I always order the pics from free prints 📷.

Also, there are always ‘age’ biscuits, a crown and a badge and this year I embroidered a bunting. The candle ring is from mine and my brother’s childhood.

The cake is always a challenge as buttercream and I are not the best of friends 🙈 but we got there in the end! Not perfect and I probably gained 3 kgs as I kept trying the buttercream.

As I said, this is so much fun for me, it makes me smile and it makes me happy - even though I know for a fact that my kids would be just as happy without it! ♥️

On Monday, the 8th of April, we will be making our own Snakes and Ladders games at Hiya at - we will talk about different themes, paint the figures and the dice and lots more!

Kids Holiday Craft Session 🥰🎨 in Sale at on the 8th of April at 1.30pm 🙌🏼

👌🏼 We will design the board, the play figures and even the dice. What theme will your child choose? Will pirates climb up ladders and slide down seaweed? Or will the fairies climb up a magical rope and slide down magic wands? Each child will come up with their own theme and each game will look totally individual, ready to be played at home 😊.

My two girls, my world.

Since I can think I’ve wanted to be a mum and these two girls are my pride and my joy. They’ve taught me patience, that I don’t have to be perfect and how being really tired feels…but also what unconditional love is. They sometimes (well, often) really challenge me but being a mum is my greatest accomplishment and seeing them grow up is the greatest privilege ♥️.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing mums and mother figures out there and if this day is a difficult one for you, I am sending you a virtual hug ♥️!

Thank you for so many of you asking 🥰 - I am so happy that there will be another Mother’s Day themed workshop for kids this year! 💐😊 - and the best thing is that it will again be at and that the kids get to pick their selection of dried flowers from the flower bar! 🙌🏼

We will be working with oil crayons whilst designing an amazing vase sleeve, we will select our own dried flowers and more! 😍
