The 90's were not a good time for snapshots, cheaper cameras meant more grainy photos. Today's restoration example is a cute photo of my youngest son not wanting to go home after visiting his gran in Scotland.

Using Photoshop I cleaned up the photo then using another photo where the jacket was clearer I manged to blend in and clone the details of the jacket. I then used Remini AI to sharpen and enhance the image. Back to photoshop to blend and tidy up and add colour layers to get the jacket colours right.

I think the end result captures another of those precious "Little Moments" and stops it being lost for ever.

My original Primary school class photo was a little worse for wear with scratches fading and cracks. I scanned it at 600DPI then used photoshop to clean up the image. I then used the Remini app to sharpen and upgrade the image and then blended and refined this using the original. Finally using photoshop I colourised the image. Another of those Little Moments saved and preserved for future generations.

Not Different, Just Unique!!

In this restoration of my Great Uncle James Marshall's army photo from WW2 I corrected the balance and sharpened the image cleaning a couple of faint scratches and blemishes. I used AI programme Remini to further sharpen the image then colourised it using Photoshop layers. This was one of the easier colourizations except for the kilt, kilts are hard to do.

This photo was badly fogged and creased. The creases in the photo were digitally mended using Photoshop Elements. The light levels were tweaked to bring back some of the details and then the faces were digitally enhanced using the Remini AI app. From this all the layers were blended together in photoshop to create the final photo.

Little moments price list - please note that I can only provide a digital service at present as I don't have suitable print facilities. Original photos can be either scanned by you and sent electronically or they can be scanned by me at a cost of 40 pence per photo plus return postage costs.
