Howdy! I’m Vicci, a freelance rider/riding instructor based in the sleepy coastal town of Whitby.

Let’s start from the very beginning…

I started riding at the age of two on the sweetest little shetland pony, which ignited my love for the sport and all things horsey! Growing up, it was clear that my passion was mainly in flatwork and I moved over to Hereford to work on a Show Hunter, Cob & Riding Horse yard.

Since then, I have worked on several different Show Pony Producers yards where I have produced lead reins, first ridden, show ponies, show hunter ponies, M&M’s and intermediates that have competed successfully at HOYS & RIHS.

Following flatwork, I began working more on Dressage, and immediately got the bug! I started competing at unaffiliated level, winning championships at Intro, Prelim, Novice & Elementary.

Enter Alan - My own little superstar! Alan and I have worked together for 5 years, and is now winning affiliated Elementary whilst on the brink of stepping up to Medium in the very near future. Together we qualified for the PetPlan Area Festival Finals to be held at the National BD Championship, our partnership in the arena is unrivalled.

Over the years I have taught many children & adults to compete successfully in the show ring & dressage arena & have decided to take the plunge to take my passion full-time!

Lessons are available on your own horse/pony at the comfort of your own home or livery yard.
