This weeks job, a pitched garage roof. Boards had rotted through and started to rot a couple of the joist ends. We cut out all the rot, replaced the affected joist timbers and fitted new 22mm sterling boards where required . Roof then fitted with breathable membrane then counter battened and a new velux fitted before lathing and tiling using the monopole tile to match the main house. Dry ridge system fitted and verges neatly bedded and pointed. Onto the next one…….

Nice rather large (70sqm) flat roof these last couple of weeks. Warm flat roof system consisting of 11mm sterling boards then sealed over with full vapour barrier. 100mm insulation boards then decked over with osb boards. Finally waterproofed with classic bond rubber sheeting with matching edge trims and new upvc fascias to cover the increase in roof height. All with 20 year guarantee. Job done 💪🏻

This weeks job, strip out and re-new the lead work to 6 valleys which had been poorly repaired before (not by us!).
