CS Detailing - Mobile

Something a bit different, vinyl stickers/sign writing removed from this van and a quick machine polish to bring up the paint around where the vinyl was.
The vinyl actually protects the paint so when removed it can be quite visible (although hard to photograph) on a vehicle thats done 100k+ miles and and has been washed weekly with a "swirlomatic 5000 wash brush" 👀

The sun being out for the after pics certainly helped the blue on this M5 pop, such a nice colour 😍

No before pic of the e-Golf, it was snowing when I started 😅. Also return of the Transporter, needed it by the looks of it 💦🚗

Pet hair special, the question is... if you didn't take 50/50 pics of any of it, did you even clean it? 🤣

Mini JCW and a VW Tiguan, also a quick blast over the Transporter again.
If you ever wondered what the deal was with snow foam/pre rinse then the last pic is a good representation, it helps to soften up and pull off a lot of dirt before you even have to make contact with the paint!

You know it's cold when you go to dry the car and you get ice on the drying towel, mind you it was only 1°C. At least it's a much warmer 5°C..ish today 🤨 oh joy 😅

In fairness the customer is handy with a camera but it couldn't look that good on camera trickery alone, I'm certainly aching a bit today!

Steady Saturday morning job.
Not too bad exterior wise, a bit of pet hair to tackle interior wise, came up lovely as to be expected 👌

Couple from yesterday, overall I thought the car was fairly tidy to begin with but had a few deep marks like the one shown across the fuel cap and swirl marks which do build up over the years.
A good few (many) hours cleaning, decontaminating and machine polishing later and I reckon it came out pretty good.
I always like to try and set expectations beforehand and be realistic as it's not always possible to remove every mark, scratch or acid etching (bird poo damage), but getting a remark from the customer like "I dont think it looked this good when I first got it" certainly makes the effort feel worthwhile. 👍

Here are some before and after shots (plus a couple during) of this black Honda Civic which has come up really nice. This has had a machine polish to achieve a fair amount of correction on the paint, only the deeper marks now remain. A massive reduction in swirl marks has brought back a nice depth to the shine which really shows on black paintwork.

Tidy VW Transporter for a minor correction polish. The vehicle was pretty decent overall already but had a lot of light scuffs and scratches down the sides which the customer wanted us to work on. Apart from the odd few deep scratches which had gone through the clear coat we managed to remove all of the lighter marks and reduce the visibility of the rest of the deeper marks that hadn't gone all the way through.
Shiny van = happy owner. Ready for signwriting for his business.

I've only just realised I posted my 50/50 shot of the bonnet on the wrong page earlier 🤦‍♂️ doh!
Anyway this is one of those satisfying jobs where the difference is immense. Start with a matte pink car and finish with a glossy red one 😬

This is a neighbours car (with permission to take these before and after pics) and was done at my home but this can be an option if you dont mind leaving your vehicle with me.

I've been looking forward to getting the chance to work on a black car with quite swirly paint. So this car had to first be washed, then treated to fallout removal and clayed (then washed again and dried) all before machine polishing could begin. A quick couple of shots on the rear quarter showing the result from just one pass. The aim with this vehicle was to make a big improvement with just a single stage and not to go for major correction but even then the result is pretty impressive.

Spring clean time for this Polo. If you can provide access to power and water, we can come to you and provide results like this!
