We're thrilled to announce the start of the transformation of our Dementia unit, beginning with a beautiful hand-painted tree by the talented Aimee. This tree is perfect for decorating with blue flowers in support of National Dementia Awareness Month. ππΈ

π§ Quiz Night and Dominoes: Our residents showed off their competitive sides at the quiz night and dominoes sessions! Laughter, friendly banter, and a little healthy competition made for some memorable moments.
π€ Karaoke Night at 'The Green Oak Bar': The stage was set, the lights were dimmed, and our residents took to the mic for a night of karaoke fun! From classic tunes to modern hits, everyone gave Elvis a run for his money with their impressive performances.
πΆ Bingalong with Dave: It was time for 'Bingalong with Dave'! Our residents sang along to their favorite tunes, creating a lively atmosphere filled with joy and nostalgia.
π¨ Painting Sessions: Amidst all the excitement, we also took some time to unwind and express our creativity through painting. Our residents truly enjoyed exploring their artistic side.

We would like to thank all our managers and their teams for all the good work they continue to do within our homes. We hope you all have a Merry Christmas, we know you will give our residents and their families a great time during the festive period.
We had a fantastic Christmas party with the children from our Acorns to Oaks session.
It made it extra special when Mrs Claus made a surprise visit and the children received their presents.
We would like to wish the children and their families a Merry Christmas and a Happy New year from our Greenacres Grange care home.
We had an amazing Christmas dementia dance cafe.
All our residents enjoyed a visit from Oldewinter and DJ Dez entertained us all with his Christmas set.
The residents and staff had a great time, And we are extremely grateful to Dez and Oldewinter for giving up their time to spend the afternoon with us.

We thoroughly enjoyed our local outing to The Crossing Christmas special Singing with Dementia at our Greenacres Grange care home.
We would like to thank Jean Roberts and everyone else involved for making it a great year of these monthly events.
We always feel welcome and have fun. All the hard work is massively appreciated.
