Elijah (Number 8) doing a cheeky wave as he sees me filming and then continuing to smoothly take the corner! Go-karting is Elijah's chosen activity for his teenage years! He is taking part in the @southwestkartinghaynes Junior Cadet License scheme, once he gets his license he will be taking part in Thursday evening races. He's having a great time and that part of the teenager's brain that enjoys risk is being given the opportunity to taste that in a controlled environment. Danny, the manager has been extremely patient and accomodating with me, booking in sessions that fit in with our schedule and giving me time to put it all in my diary and making it a very pleasant experience in taking the stress of organising it away. They still race in the wet and there's a shelter for the onlookers to keep dry. Yummy! These are amazing they are like M&Ms but better! Elijah and I have been enjoying them! Elijah is going back to school on Monday and he is LOOKING FORWARD to it! Which is amazing, considering the years of difficulties concerning school but... But, I can't help the thought entering my head that I didn't make the holiday good enough for him. I know it's not the right thought. And another thing is, I found it really difficult to stop doing college work, I was reading plays, watching films of plays, reading books, studying how to study and then, when Elijah came on school holidays, I stopped and now I am very nervous about starting again!
