Good afternoon all! Just to let you know over the past week we have had a soft opening to try and serve some customers with our new products, we did not want to go completely public as we have had a massive rush of customers and not been able to give the best level of service! However we believe we have made our products better and are now able to serve everyone who has been awaiting their pizza fix! We are proud to say that we have made our dough better so that it can still be saved and eaten later without going stale which was admittedly one of the flaws we had! We are now also open from 11am - 10:30pm every day! We have a new manager in store who has 30+ years experience in working for Papa Johns and has trained our owners and managers! Good Evening all, apologies about the delay in writing this message. We would like to update you on what has been happening behind the scenes at Pizza Joint as a few of you have been asking why we have been shut! A store manager of ours has unfortunately had a family member fall severely ill… so the store has been closed to allow him time off. We are a small independent business and having such a valuable member of our team off has been hard to replace! For the most part we did turn our online ordering service off but it was switched on due to our online platform having a reset… for this reason customers were able to place orders even though we were closed! Rest assured that anyone who placed an order will receive a full refund! Some of you have also been questioning where the owner is in all this… Gurpreet is still committed to making The Pizza Joint Sittingbourne the best it can be and had taken a trip to Naples in Italy to learn how to make Neapolitan pizzas from ‘The home of Pizza’ there are exciting things on the horizon! We are making our recipe even better and doing extensive tests to ensure we give you an even better product than before! We can only apologise for the people who have wanted to order with us but we are open enough to admit when we feel we can do better! Just to let you know we should be back to full service, after all the internet and phone issues I believe we have everything working so you can place orders online or over the phone without any diverts! Good evening everybody, just to keep you updated we are able to take orders online for delivery and collection but our card machine is still not working so it is cash only for collections and shop orders or you can order and pay online to pop down and collect! We hope to get the remaining issues sorted and resume a completely normal service! Hope to see you guys soon! 😊

Good afternoon all, we are having issues with our internet so will not be able to take any orders over the website, we are still able to take orders via telephone for deliveries or collections and unfortunately will be cash only, there is a cash point directly outside of the store! We can only apologise for the inconvenience whilst this gets fixed!

Hey guys! Hope you’re having a good day, just to let you all know we have unfortunately had a power cut to the store so will not be able to fulfill any orders! We will let you know when we are fully operational again! It has happened to a few of the stores along the shopping centre so they may have a reduced service too! Apologies for the inconvenience!

Good afternoon all! Hope you are having a great week so far, just to keep you posted we have fixed a website issue that was causing customers to get charged for exchanging toppings on pizzas! Now customers can remove toppings and add another in its place at no extra cost! We are also currently doing the cheese & tomato or pepperoni pizza by the slice from Mondays to Fridays 3pm-4pm for £1 each!!!

Hey guys! Hope you have all had an amazing weekend! Just wanted to share this with you as I’m sure a fair few of you have voted for us in this! So unbelievably proud to see that we are the top voted pizza joint in the whole of Sittingbourne! We don’t get into this industry for such accolades but it’s always nice to see that people appreciate our work and service! We will strive to keep this consistency! Good afternoon all! Thank you so much for your feedback recently! We have been reading each and every comment and will be making some slight changes to try and improve our food and service!

- We are approaching our online team to try and give an option to put less pizza sauce on the base of our pizzas! This will mean that you will be able to request less sauce without having to call up after placing an order with us!
This will come in due course when our internet team can update the website!

- We are lowering the price of our portion of chips! A lot of you mentioned that the price was too high, this was admittedly an oversight from us as we assumed people would order them in meal deals rather than portions on their own so they will now be priced lower even on platforms such as Just Eat or Uber where we pay commission! We appreciate that most people do come direct so we hope this will be more suitable!
This will apply immediately!

- We will be trialling selling pizza by the slice for the school rush so this will only be available from 3-4pm! We plan to do this after the half term break and will be selling Cheese & Tomato and Pepperoni slices for £1 each!
This will apply after the half term break!

I hope this shows that we really do take feedback on board and want to constantly improve our procedures to make customers happy, after all we are nothing without you guys!

Good morning everyone! We just wanted to gather feedback from you all as it’s been slightly over a month since we opened our doors in what is probably the most challenging part of the year for the food industry! We are under no illusion that we are perfect and have made some mistakes but have done our best to rectify those! We want to find out what we have done well/what we can improve on/any reservations that stop people from ordering and this applies to our food and our service! We honestly appreciate the feedback so much and really do take it on board as we want to constantly improve and maybe somewhere along the way a small independent takeaway can compete with the national chains (but optimistic we know!) As always we will read every single comment and respond as we think customer engagement is so important! Thank you all for your time! 😊

Good evening all! We would just like to apologise to anyone who ordered with us tonight around 5pm as we were the victims of the power cut which stretched as far as we could see! Our ovens went down as well as our point of sale systems which meant we couldn’t even let customers know that it happened… unfortunately when the power eventually came back we were hit with a wave of orders from people who had ordered during this ordeal! (Which made for a hectic shift for us) thank you to the customers who were so understanding about the situation and we hope we can provide you with a better service next time!

It’s always difficult with NYE being the busiest day of the year for takeaways but we feel like we did a good job! Good evening everyone, tomorrow is finally the day we get to open our doors to you all! It’s been a long wait and we have had many setbacks but tomorrow it will be our pleasure to serve you all! Some of you may have seen the progress and we have kept quiet in regards to pictures and updates but hopefully it will be a big improvement to what was there before! Thank you so much to you all for your support and well wishes, we have had many people stop and say hello as we are working and a big thank you to those because those words of appreciation really do mean a lot and keep us going!
