Tamzin Outhwaite launched We Free Women today on International Women's Day.

It's an amazing non profit organisation that will enable women to go on a retreat within the UK.

This absolutely resonates with me and the work I do. Retreats should be open to all women because we should all experience self-love and self-care. Money should not be a barrier to finding peace, receiving treatments, eating nutritional food, being educated, loved and supported in our journeys as women.

So proud to be part of this organisation.

Selfcare is a buzzword that resonates with many of us, but it is also a luxury that most people do not have the time or money to afford.

There are millions of women out there who are struggling, whether it be financial difficulties, menopause, single mothers caring for children, troubled teens & some caring for elderly parents too... it goes on and on... Spinning plates, juggling childcare, work, running a home & with the cost of living crisis it can feel impossible for women to make themselves a priority financially, timewise & whilst dealing with too many responsibilities.

Our stretched NHS is full of women reaching out and not getting as
much help as they deserve...

Wellness retreats offer people some rest, a chance to grow and to focus and look within themselves with the help of wonderful therapies, nourishing food and calming surroundings... a chance to be free and be themselves.

With so many women not able to afford such luxury, we've been inspired to start one which will be free... Our hope is to turn this into something bigger, to be able to make retreats for women across the UK for free.

We have been inundated with responses, suggestions & nominations of deserving women who simply can’t afford it... but we have also had massage therapists, chefs, P.Ts, menopause specialists, healers, yoga teachers, breath work experts and people offering up their properties.

We have set up this funding stream as lots of people have been in touch to say they have nothing to offer but they would like to donate... this is amazing... this is a movement... any funds donated will be used towards the retreats and ongoing support to women in need.

What is it?
It's a hydrating succulent plant.

What should be my first tipple of the day?

Warm lemon water 🍋

But don't have it with a slice of lemon or hot water. There are NO benefits to you!

What do I have?

A cup of warm water and use the juice from a whole lemon (chop the ends off first).
To save time (and washing a juicer everyday!) I juice a batch of lemons and pop the juice into an ice cube tray and just 'pop' one out every morning to use.

If you'd like an extra boost in winter or hayfever season add some fresh ginger, turmeric & either local honey or maple syrup.

My personal Environ & Skinpen Journey & an INCREDIBLE offer!!!

I always get complimented on my skin and get comments like 'you don't look 50'.
I blush and say thank you.
Not good at receiving compliments!

But I always explain that I haven't always looked like this. It's down to my Environ journey over the past 7 years and on the Skinpen journey over the past 4 years.

The culmination of the two creates amazing results which can be seen straight away.

I chose to invest in my skin after looking in the mirror one day and seeing all the photo damage, pigmentation, dehydration, lines & wrinkles and thought it's time to change some habits but invest in my skin like I do my body, mind and spirit.

I grew up in the middle east and was always getting burnt. I've had skin cancer. Years of living in Australia, then Dubai. I love the beach, sunbathing, water sports and being outside cycling, skiing, swimming....you get the picture. Sun damage over 50 years of all kinds and a love of outdoors.

I started on the Environ step up system with AVST 1 and slowly climbed my way up where I am now on the highest level of vitamin A with three additional vit A products that I use am & pm. I have monthly facials, peels and I use Skinpen when I feel my skin needs it. Approximately once every 3 months.

The second photo, bottom left, was taken 5 years ago in the summer.
The third photo was taken last year in the summer.
