💥Be a part of something exciting 💥
I never want to come across as the boring, moaning guy that only talks about the good old days and how they don't make music how they used to.
It's so frustrating that music in general, has become so boring and generic.
Before you disagree and have a melt down, there is still some good stuff out there but most of it is lost amongst the rest.
You do get the sense of being comfortable with what we listen to and what bands are producing.
Yes there is a game to be played.
Bands need to make accessible music to just survive but that doesn't been it needs to be anything less exiting or impressive.
I always remember hearing some of those albums that changed everything for me and how I see music and I'm sure they didn't believe in boundaries or they thought may be acceptable or not.
The first time I heard:
Led Zepplin
Soundgarden
Tool
All did something that made me listen and take note and question what can be achieved.
Yes the industry has changed since then but that surly doesn't mean we can't be excited by music anymore.
