Yesterday we said our final farewell to our Year 6 children as they left Kanes Hill for the very last time. We are so incredibly proud of all their achievements & wish them all the luck for the future. ❤️💙 /2024
Today we said a fond, but sad, farewell to three of our staff team.
Mrs Hill, our General Assistant, is retiring.
Mrs Brackstone, our Teaching Assistant, is going to work at Mencap.
Mrs Marshall, our Execuitve Principal, is also retiring.
We will miss them all so very much but once a member of the Kanes Hill family, always a member of the Kanes Hill family! 💙
It was wonderful to see so many families at our end of term celebration ‘Booknic’ this afternoon in the EYFS garden. The children and adults enjoyed books and snacks in the sunshine. 📚☀️

The PTA have organised for Chez's Ices Mobile desserts to come to school on the last day of term, they will be located on the field from 3pm for a icey treat!

Today in our celebration assembly we celebrated the amazing achievements of our boys and girls football teams.
We are so incredibly proud of their sportsmanship this year and how they have represented our school in every matched they have played. ⚽️🏆⚽️

Jellyfish have arrived at Lee-On-Solent to complete their geography fieldwork. We are completing environmental quality assessments to determine the best location for a new hotel. ☀️
Thursday 11th July is Sports Day for;
Year 5 & 6 from 9.15am.
Please drop off your child in the normal way and wait for the gates by Pre-school to re-open at 9.05am. Parents can make their way to the field and take a seat on the benches.
The morning will commence at 9.15am.
Please remember to send in a hat, water bottle and your child’s PE kit so they are ready for the event. Apply sun cream before school as the sun is out. ☀️
Year 4 had their final COSMOs session today and were very lucky to have the Wildlife Trust in, talking about the importance of supporting local wildlife. They discussed ways of supporting the local community and created hedgehog tunnels.
Thank you to all the parents for your support over the past three sessions.
