What a creative lot!

Last September, the plotters of ‘Serpentine 3’ allotment site in Preston threw open their gates for a day of communal creativity 🌱

They are diverse council run site, incorporating quilters, weavers, dyers, printers, painters and potters, so decided to hold 'Art On The Plots' and invite other creatives for the day.

They looked after their artist guests by providing cool shade and refreshments, handing out site maps and conducting site tours. The day was a resounding success and they hope to repeat it another year.

What an inspiring community initiative! 🌱
