CONGRATULATIONS 🎉👏🏻 to our Wheelchair team Southport who confirmed their place as WINNERS of the Division 3 National Championship

Southport who joined up with Liverpool Basketball at the beginning of this season, won the final with an impressive 46-42 win over CWBA, a fantastic achievement to everyone involved with the team.

Ryan smart also picked up MVP honours for the final finishing the game with 21 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists.

This also confirms their promotion to Division 2 next year, where they look to build on this year’s success aswell as formally being renamed to Liverpool Basketball next season.

They will now play CWBA 3 in the final.

WINNERS!

Southport defeat Sheffield 55-46 after a four point loss away. In a brilliant game that could have gone either way, Southport pulled away in the last quarter to win.

Thank you to all of the supporters who came to watch. Southport remain top of the league.
