When I started my business as a speech therapist in 2005, I was scared and had no business experience or knowledge...
So I went on a generic business course and found myself talking to a local plumber!
Then I went on a business course specifically for speech therapists who wanted to set up their independent practice, and no one really wanted to tell me their ideas/secrets on how to grow a business.
They didn't want to tell me about pricing.
They didn't want to tell me how they got clients.
They didn't want to tell me who built their website.
To be honest, I didn't want to ask those questions because they are personal...right?
WRONG!!
But not being able to ask those questions, held me back.
So I am going to answer those questions in my upcoming workshop on Monday and Tuesday 19th & 20th of August ( different time zones).

Take Rashid example.

I went on a challenge this week to learn about self-liquidating offers.
Although I am very techy, have run paid boot camps, webinars/workshops, sold courses for thousands and run weekend retreats.....I had never written a book....until this week.
SPOILER ALERT: I used AI but I discovered ( my gut feeling) that CHATGPT was too male and Gemini is more female. Research shows that 22% of AI experts are female.
Anyway, someone in this group suggested to me to ask AI about the emotional triggers for my book cover and this is what I wrote:

It talked about the :
* the emotions of colours
* the title meaning
* The picture meaning and emotions they evoke
I asked people about the covers and the one that had gold resonated with people from India, Pakistan and Africa. This one was created by someone in Pakistan. The pink and watercolour ones resonated with people UK, Europe, USA and Canada ( my current audience). These were created by me.
This showed me that even though I am NOT a graphic designer, I have a talent which I am proud of. I'm not saying this to boast but I really didn't need to pay for someone and I should trust my creative intuition which I believe is God-given and no-one has taught me that.....TRUST IN YOURSELF MORE....The answers are in there.
Anyway, it has made me see so much and realise that " people do have feelings about book covers" and today at 2pm UK time I am going to do a LIVESTREAM on my personal profile, Linkedin and Youtube....I hope you will join me and ask questions in the comments!
