2023 in review 💫
Here’s a little snapshot of our year in 12 moments, of 12 months 📸
1. Unify Through Creativity (15yr anniversary show)- 2 day Collaborative show to celebrate inclusive creative expression. (Including poetry, live band, and learning sign language)
2. EIGHT community performances bringing the joy of dance to the community Starting at the Pride of South Holland awards and finishing with Spalding Christmas celebration & many in between
3. Started the first Boys Breakdance crew in Spalding
4. International Dance weekend- 3 day event with a variety of dance classes for all ages.
5. In-house event- Marking our mid year progress, improving confidence and encouraging individual creation.
6. Rebranded- to showcase the impact we have on the lives of young people, a catalyst for societal change (inclusivity, acceptance of differences, supporting mental & physical health) and connecting the community
7. Flash mob with 40+ people (The video went viral and we had our first bbc radio debut)
8. Performed at True motion in Lincoln, a spoken word and movement peice and were selected by the panel
9. Competed at BDO East Anglia street dance championships
10. Spalding Flower Parade with 80+ students
11. Supported 10 inclusive discos
12. Reached 85+ participants with our Sense in Motion & South Holland in Motion- Dance for disabled people, SEN and other access needs
This is only a little of what we’ve done in 2023, which is just crazy...how did we do it 😉!! All thanks to the ingredient of dance/movement, skilled team members and collaborators we are proud to say we have provided 700+ hours of dance reaching over 1000 people (Participant + audience) in Lincolnshire in 2023 👏👏👏
Though it has been difficult for many arts, sport & community organisations to recover after the pandemic, us included we work hard to navigate these difficulties every week and hope to continue to provide opportunities for movement, connection and expression pro

Boys Breakdance Crew 🤩. Everyone was awesome, we were blown away by the progress they’ve made already and we can’t wait to see them continue to grow 💪🏼 Sessions are held monthly @diamondzdance Spalding, taught by Jordan Wild Technique Breakers: Leicester's Only Breakdance Classes Optional practise videos are sent Bi-weekly.
