It's beginning to smell a lot like Christmas at Wick & Wonderful HQ 😉

We absolutely LOVE the festive season, and whilst we’re doing pretty well in holding back on the decoration front (so far), we couldn’t resist a little Festive Forest fragrance instead!

Fresh pine, spicy clove with the subtle sweetness of crisp green leaves with a snap of citrus. Think winter woodlands, frosty mornings and freshly cut Christmas trees. Only 38 more sleeps!

We’re getting our home fragrance on tonight with our full-bodied & fruity Black Plum scent.

The richness of black plum, succulent peach, and plump blackberries is wonderfully offset by the tart tones of fresh rhubarb and sweet juicy pear - delicious! Ha, we could almost be describing a fine wine 😋

Just as an FYI, each melt will fill your room with fragrance for up to 15 hours, and with ten melts per pack, you’ve got a lot of fragrance time on your hands!

Here at Wick & Wonderful, we love candles (obviously!), but we also love helping you get the most out of yours.

A little TLC can go a long way in ensuring your candle burns for longer, which in turn means you get to enjoy every last drop of stunning fragrance.

So, our top tip for today is:

Always burn your candle, so it melts and pools right to the very edge of the vessel. You should do this, ideally, for every burn, but especially for the first few uses.

Our wicks have been carefully selected to create the perfect melt pool in approx. 4 hours.

By following our advice, you’ll avoid tunnelling (which is SUCH a waste of wax) and your candle will last for many more burns to come ☺️

Sunday Top Tip For A Cleaner, Clearer & Brighter Burn.

One of the best pieces of advice we can give you to ensure you get the most from our candles is to:

~ Keep the wick trimmed to approx. 5mm

It’s a quick and easy thing to do before every burn but it makes all the difference! Not only will it help your candle last for longer but it will also:

~ Prevent any sooting around the jar
~ Create an even melt pool
~ Stop the flame from flickering too much

Keep your eyes out for some new wick trimmers coming to the Wick and Wonderful store soon.

Annnnnnd relax!

I’m about to run a candlelit bath and indulge in a bit of ‘me time’ before the week ahead.

My bathroom is filled with the crisp marine fragrance of “Ocean Breeze” (tagged 😉), and so all that’s left is a good book and a glass of white from the bottle that’s chilling in the fridge!
