Job opportunity for a climber based near Aston, Hertfordshire.

We are currently looking for the right person to join our small professional team and to develop into the role as our lead climber.
We are looking for someone who wants to be part of a great team, who is passionate about the environment and providing great tree care. The successful applicant would need to be reliable and hard working.

The work that we do:
Predominantly domestic tree works within neighbouring garden city towns.

Candidates will be asked to show their experience in carrying out all aspects of tree surgery during a paid day of work, and hold the following qualifications:
- Full UK driving licence
- NPTC Unit 201 (CS30) - Chainsaw Maintenance and Crosscutting
- NPTC Unit 202 (CS31) - Felling and Processing Trees up to 380mm in diameter
- NPTC Unit 203 (CS38) - Tree Climbing and Aerial Rescue
- NPTC Unit 204 (CS39) - Using a Chainsaw from a Rope and Harness

Company uniform and all equipment provided

The role is initially on a self employed basis, however there is a possibility of contracted employment for the right candidate.

We only sell low volumes of firewood and ours is all seasoned for over a year below cover and below the 20% recommended (13-15%) and can be tested by you when we deliver.
All our wood comes from trees we have worked on as is typically Ash, Beech, Birch, Oak or Fruit tree - Apple, Cherry or Plum.
