Fab weekend everyone
We are on the move to a new ‘indoor’ venue.
We’ve loved being based in Woodley for the past 4 years, unfortunately the owners felt it was time to move on and we wish them the best of luck in their new home.
After much searching and a bit of help, we’ve found a lovely indoor venue in Marple.
Looking forward to Team Paw x Paw’s next chapter 😍💜💜💚💚
Well done Amelia and little Trixie
The went to DSD Agility show and came back with, 3rd in Jumping, 2nd in Agility and 1st in Agility.
Unfortunately the 1st was faulted, so it can’t count toward grading up, but amazing anyway
Amazing 💜💜
Ahhh looking back… this was an amazing day at the interclub, the smallest club there and we achieved so much!
Wish they would resurrect the NW Agility Interclub competition. 💜
They’re here! Onsite and in use 💜💛
When it comes to agility, I want the safest equipment I can get, and when I saw Performance Agility jumps… I was so impressed.
They are light weight moulded plastic, and include safety cups that fall away when knocked, without the slippage I saw on other jumps last year in the ring.
Plus how sleek do they look 😍
Well done on making such amazing jumps, with dog safety in mind 💛💜
Congratulations to Donna and Jake on their marriage yesterday… you all look amazing, and Alice looks so cute 💜💜🌸🌸
Most of you will know Purdee Duffit through Agility.
She’s been studying for the last 3 years to become a Veterinary Physiotherapist
By this summer she will be able to start offering treatments, and I’m planning on working closely with her to offer treatment sessions at either my venue or local to my venue

They both have enough points to move up to Novice 💜💜
Amazing news
As part of our continuous development and support for Agility in the UK We have recently added two more representatives to our sponsership list.
As we are wanting to support a wide range, judging was an obvious area to look at and we selected this person not only for already being a great customer and advocate of our products but also for her dedication to Judging, Safety and course design.
Therefore we'd like to announce Hannah Grantham as our sponsered person in the field of Agility Judging. Well done Hannah and welcome aboard.
Massive congratulations to Chanette S and Kea, and Gary Dale and Rufus on qualifying for the A4A Grand finals in Masters at K9Brats Agility Shows this weekend.
💜💜💜💜💜
Congratulations to Leanne and Stuart on their marriage today, members of team Paw x Paw from the Tuesday night later group enjoyed celebrating with you.
Wishing you lots of love and happiness for the future 💍💒
What a way to end the year!!!
Well done Anastasia and Rocky, taking 2 agility wins today, moving them into GRADE 4!!
You’re both on fire at the moment 👏👏👏
Agility is a wonderful hobby, full of ups and downs…. A journey with your dog.
Firstly Anastasia and Rocky are beginning to create the success in the ring, due to all the effort they put into their training, last week they took a 1st and a 2nd place and this week 2x 2nd .. I’m pretty sure they’ll hit grade 4 soon.
On the other side of their journey Gary and Rufus, Chanette and Kea did their final ever KC runs as they retire and move to Agility 4 All where they have both measured 300, a jump height lower than their KC measure. Both running clears in the KC Agility Stakes Q to finish on a high.
I’ve witnessed Gary and Rufus’s first ever agility runs, and watched them go from grade 1 to 7, am so proud to be part of their journey and it was lovely to watch them do their final run together, see you at A4A.
Enjoy your semi retirement Rufus and Kea 💜👏
When I mention running contacts… this is what it should look like 💚
Note the low hit on the contact area and the split back legs.
Pip still has a lot to learn.. but we are getting there 👏
Every agility journey is very different.
We need to remember that, a few of my students are finding bumps in the road, some bumps are much larger than others, whilst some are happily cruising along just enjoying the ride.
Every dog is very different, they all learn and mature at different rates, exactly like us. I want you all to just stop and remember that for a moment.
I totally understand how frustrating it can be, you watching people in your groups, clubs, at show or on social media, their agility journey seems to be so easy in comparison to yours… this it where we need to STOP immediately, move away from the comparisons (but I do wonder if our dogs sit there comparing their handlers 😂).
Comparing your progress with your dog, to someone else’s progress with their dog, is not fair on you or your dog, it’s not an equal comparison.
I’ve had 4 agility dogs, even comparing them to each other, is not a fair comparison, they were and are very very different.
Comparing will just make you feel a little bit rubbish and more frustrated, as us humans tend to focus on the negative! Which takes away the time you should be enjoying agility with your dog.
It’s ok to get frustrated, upset and angry, but in that moment, take a breather. Reward your dog, take them to your vehicle or crate, give them a snuggle and don’t let them see you express those feelings. Take a moment to vent, loose your 💩 (it ok to do that) then return to the task or a different one, once you’ve relaxed a little and are ready to enjoy agility training or competing once more.
All agility journeys are different, they present different challenges and achievements, enjoy each one, it’ll only make you a better handler and a better dog owner 💜🧡💚💛

We learnt today that team Paw x Paw lost a gorgeous agility retiree… Lola a miniature labradoodle (not a cockerpoo 🫣) sadly crossed rainbow bridge.
Through Lola we met Clare Higgins and her mum Marion Higgins, and they became regulars on Tuesday for many years. They became firm friends of the Tuesday night dog botherers (self proclaimed) 💜. Despite Lola retiring, they stayed in the chat group to keep up with everyone.
Lola reached Grade 3, and I remember attending Dog Vegas shows at Oakridge Arena, with the Tuesday night gang and having so much fun, watching them compete, and this is where Lola got her wins 💜
Lola also has a bit of an obsession with me, and before she started training, she had to give me a leg hug, otherwise she refused to train 😂😂.
She was a lovely dog, who got on well with all the other dogs, joined us on group walks and loved to bark all the way round an agility course 🤎
Run free Lola, join that agility course in the clouds, you will be missed 💜💜💜🌈
Two beginner dogs went to a lovely confidence building show yesterday and came away with rosettes
Emily and Indi gain 2nd in Anysize steeplechase
Tom and Nigel got 1st in Anysize Jumping
Fab work 💚💜
