Join us at Priestnall life Leisure Centre for tonightβs training 7pm-8pm
Hope to see you there πͺπΌ
A massive well done to our 2nd team who played their first game in the Trafford Summer League!
Although we didnβt win, it was a close game and the first game back since the end of the MENL season!
Lots to take away and work on at training next Wednesday
Well done ππΌ
Some snap shots of our 2nd Pre-season training session!
Lots of work of fitness and passing accuracy.
If anyone would like any information about the club, please message me, we would love to see some new faces
Some fabulous games from all teams over the past two weeks.
Really fast, competitive games that have been keeping us busy!
Lovely to see a few new fabulous faces too, just a few games left before the Christmas break.
A late post from last week!!
We had 3 fabulous wins from all 3 teams in the club - what a week for PNC!
Roll on our games this week ππ
Only the two games for us this week!
3rds had to rearrange their game due to injuries π wishing everyone a speedy recovery!!
1sts were also struck down with injuries and illness, despite their best efforts they lost out to Trafford away.
2nds had another successful week with a strong 38-28 home win against Poynton.
Injuries have struck us hard already this season, as a small club it definitely makes things tricky! Due to this, we are hoping to get a few more players registered for us, so if youβre wanting to join a well established, friendly club and play weekly - please drop us a message!
Sadly we canβt take in beginners due to the point we are at in the season, it would need to be players who have experience and have played before to meet the standard of the league π
Itβs been a winning week for us this!
The thirds had a week off - a good time to rest up some injuries which have been sustained at the start of this season.
The 1sts had a strong home game and won 37-22!
The seconds were away at Trafford and won 38-25 π
A positive week - roll on next week!
Another busy week for PNC!
2nds - had a home game last night and had a triumphant 33-27 win against Bramhall. The team had a really strong start and managed to hold the lead all the way through the game.
3rds - played away this evening. A fast and physical game which sadly didnβt result in a win, but after an injury in the 2nd quarter - the whole team pulled together to see the game through to the end.
1sts - the firsts also had an away game tonight against a strong Dominoes side. It was a tight game throughout but the girls managed to hold on and come through with a 23-22 win, phew - what a tense game!
Well done to all of our teams, roll on next week for more games!
A little roundup of the games this week!
3rds - ended up playing a friendly due to the opposing teamβs umpire being late to the game, the 3rds will take the points for this game π
1sts - had their first win with an immense score of 41-14 over Tameside, great to get their first win of the season especially with a score like that!
2nds - went down to 7 players last minute but still managed to play a very fast, high scoring game and come out with a draw at 32 - 32 a piece against COM.
All three teams play again next week and hope to continue onwards and upwards!
A busy week of games again this week!
Both the 1sts and the 3rds are hoping to get wins at their first home games of the season on Wednesday at 7:30pm and 8:30pm.
The seconds are away on Thursday at 8pm for their first away game of the season.
Good luck to all of our players π€©
First week of the season complete!
Tough games all round trying out new teams and new combinations!
The 1sts and 3rds fought hard this week but sadly ended the games with a loss.
The 2nds had a closely contested game this evening and came out with a 25-20 win over Wilmslow A team.
Well played everyone - roll on next week!
Good luck to all our teams this week!
Tonight the 3rds play away,
Tomorrow the 1sts are away
And
Wednesday the 2nds are at home
A busy week for the club and hopefully each team can come away with a win and start of the season with a bang! Keep your eyes peeled for the results!
We had some great friendlies on Wednesday against Manchester Flava. All three of our teams played, tested out new combinations, got some new players on the court and it was overall a great success!
Teams are all looking good with everyone able to play a range of positions, but doors are always open - especially for some more shooters/C!
More friendlies to come next week π₯
We, as a club, are paying tribute to The Queen and sending all of our thoughts and love to anyone who needs it π€π€π€

Thank you so much to everyone who has been down to our summer training sessions, we have loved it!
Now we are looking to get teams sorted for the new season, the big question is:
Are there any shooters out there who we may have missed?!
We need a few more shooting stars to join the club (GS or GA), so please make yourself known if you fancy it!

A great morning at Woodβs Gym in Hyde for some of the Priestnall girls today!
Feeling fit, strong and ready for the season is important and also making sure we are feeling healthy and strong so we can reduce injuries! These sessions are a great mix of cardio, weights and strength training and something we will definitely take up especially during this preseason time.
If anyone fancies joining us around our usual netball training sessions - get in touch! Priestnall Netball Club take over at the gym?!

We canβt wait to see new and existing players out on the court with us next week.

π can anyone relate?!
We laugh, but during this season due to injury, this is exactly what happened to Priestnall White! GK moving into the shooting circle - and it was brilliant! Anymore GKs out there hiding shooting talent?!

FAQ ππ€ππ€
We have been inundated with messages about our training sessions and joining the club - very exciting! Here is some more information based on the questions weβve been asked:
- summer is training, we start on Wednesday 8th June and train all summer (with a few weeks off at the end of august) 19:00-20:00. You can just turn up, we keep registers and check everyone in at the start of training.
- training will be skills, drills, fitness and match play led by coaches/players within the club
- the court at Priestnall Life Leisure is our home court and home to us every Wednesday all year round, when matches start
September - May, we play our home games on a Wednesday night.
- your first session is free, each session after that is Β£3 and paid on entry, if you decide youβre staying and signing up to play (yay!) then everyone registered to the club pays monthly standing order instead of cash each week.
- the Manchester Evening Netball League is great! We have 3 teams so have players of different abilities within the club who play across the different teams. We compete really well each season and each season the leagues get better and better. You play one game a week and the day/time will depend on the teams home court.
We play our home games every Wednesday either 19:00 or 20:00 start. And then we also play away games which are in the local area depending on where the opposition are based, and those games will be either Tues/Weds/Thurs. sometimes we may have three home games in a row then 2 away games or it might be one home then one away, one home, one away - itβs all down to the fixtures.
Fixtures are given in September for the WHOLE season, so you will know which day you are playing well in advance to make plans, arrange childcare etc. Youβll be added to a team WhatsApp group and your team captain will let you know the games at the start of the season.
- whilst we arenβt a βback to netballβ club, we welcome people who have played before and who are looking to get back into netball or who are experienced looking to further their game, enjoy themselves and compete with some fabulous ladies. Commitment and teamwork are essential π
- everyone is super friendly and supportive here at PNC, we pride ourselves on creating a friendly environment that everyone can be welcomed into and find something that suits them, whilst keeping fit!
- we have players aged 16-60 π so donβt let age put you off!
