Mad Knitters Tea Party

Anyone reading this want to do something for yarn-bombing day 2017 or world wide knit in public day 2017. Hat museum based?

All photos now on here. Hat Works hat very well received, lasted at least one hour! Rumour has it that the local rag has written details and access to photos for a possible article this week or next.

At the request of the Hat Works Museum, Stockport, I'm going down there shortly to put a very small hat on one of the k***s on their entrance railings. Fantastic response so far with photos being favourited in Seattle, San Francisco and Japan to list only 3. The Hat Works one will be added to the collection when I get home.

77 hats successfully installed this morning early! yawn! Only 3 remained by 5:00 pm. Much photographing, excitement choosing, trying for size, finding a reflective shop window, even fighting over who'd seen it first going on up and down Princess St. Overall a very successful day. Thanks to everyone who made hats and much joy to those who took them.

Donning of hats - from 07:45 starting at the Debenhams end of Princess St. Bring your cameras, should be very photogenic. We hope to retire to the Hatworks Museum, for knitting in public as soon after ten as possible. Stockport's bit towards World Wide Knitting in Public Week.
