"We have clients who come here who are very shy and after a few months here their confidence has improved so much" - Pure Support Worker, Dianne 💙 Watch our brand new video highlighting Pure Support at The Boathouse Café in Alexandra Park, Oldham! Here we offer support to adults with a learning disability who can learn baking, customer service and barista skills as well as socialise with their peers and grow their confidence. In the video we hear from clients Peter and Jonathan who love what they do here as well as from Support Worker, Dianne who encourages anyone considering it to come and give us a go! ☕🍰

The theme for #LearningDisabilityAwarenessWeek is 'Do you see me?' which is all about being seen, heard and valued.
Oliver now has a career, colleagues he considers friends and a future to look forward to.

This #WorldAutismAcceptanceWeek we want to give a shout out to our amazing client, James who is currently working as an intern at The Light Stockport 🍿 We are so proud of James who has overcome so many fears so that he can learn to do a role he really wants in retail and hospitality. This was James in February announcing his first film to a cinema full of people! Massive thanks to all the staff at The Light Cinema who have played a big part in supporting James to learn the role and gain this confidence.
