⚡️What will my brows look like straight after the laser treatment and how much downtime from makeup/skincare routine do I need?

🌙 The pictures shown here are a few examples of customers brows straight after treatment, you can see that redness occurs in most cases in differing degrees and there are some (especially darker hair) that may be affected or turn white. Please be assured that in most cases redness has gone within 24-48 hours and hair recovery is up to 14 days. I do not shave the hairs and this treatment does not effect long term hair growth. The laser I use is not a hair removal laser.

There are no breaks in the skin, meaning no infection risk and therefore unless this happens in the days following which is an extremely rare side effect with brows;you can go back to normal with your daily routine within a few days (no acid based skincare for at least 4 weeks).

⚡️My brows have turned blue or red over time, am I suitable for this treatment?

🌙Semi-perm ink is particularly complex to remove. You may have seen brows that have oxidised over time (turned blue or red) for example and wondered can this be fixed easily. The simple answer to that question is unfortunately,no.

When treating semi permanent ink we have to automatically presume that inks have been mixed with cool or warm tones to match skin/hair colour. This means that uncovering colours ranging from yellow, orange, red, blue are very common complications when starting laser treatment.

Not all clients will be suitable for this treatment.

As you can see from the pictures, yellowing is very common in different degrees. Most of my customers however prefer this to the darker ink shades they have in their brows and so if we patch test and uncover yellow then we normally continue treatment as this can be covered by a good semi perm makeup artist later down the line.

⚡️How many treatments might I need?

🌙 In most cases, as you can see from the pictures, one is enough. Every brow is different however, and many people have many layers of micro blading/ink from many different places. This in general takes a bit longer.

𝔗𝔞𝔱𝔱𝔬𝔬 ℜ𝔢𝔪𝔬𝔳𝔞𝔩 𝔞𝔫𝔡 ℭ𝔬𝔩𝔬𝔲𝔯𝔢𝔡 ℑ𝔫𝔨

After over 10 years of lasering ink this year…I always get asked about my opinion on coloured ink and the possibility of full removal being achieved.

While, in some cases I have seen huge improvement/lightening with colour. My personal opinion on coloured ink is that the majority can not be fully removed and that tattoos with big areas of colour are more suitable for cover up projects.

In saying that, with all removal projects results can vary massively and in some rare cases colour will disappear fully.

The pictured example that I have chosen is of the top of my very fave artist foot.

You can see that as we come to the end of the removal process,although quite minimal…We have some pink/magenta shades that remain although this is becoming less and less noticeable as time goes on.

As you all know, I don’t post a lot of progress pictures due to the sensitive nature of a lot of the work I do but, I have promised I would upload more for you all to see what can be achieved with customers prior permission.

Ry came to me after a bad experience with laser tattoo removal to lighten up this huge chest piece ready for the tattoo wizard to work his magic on with a new cover up.

You can see on the lower right of this tattoo, an area of scarring, hypertrophic in some areas, from laser treatment elsewhere, which led to Ry being understandably apprehensive of laser treatment.

This tattoo was not treated all at once, but broken down into two halves to allow the body to break this ink down at a slower rate to achieve maximum impact.

This tattoo took 2 full passes with good break times in between to achieve this level of lightening. No poor healing, skin damage, scarring or pigmentation occurred as Ry followed after care instructions perfectly.

We have been working on the piece for some time. This tattoo spanned the width of the whole upper back so has taken some time...but sooo worth it.

James lived in London while getting this treatment and so, sometimes, there was extra time left between sessions. I always tell my customers though, that this is not a bad thing. Even without laser treatment, in most cases, previous laser treatments continue to give results and any last fragments left from this now that treatment is complete, will disperse on their own. It was a long way to travel, but for good laser treatment and good results...it’s worth it.

Now onto the arm...I know how much you love laser 😂
