It was my last walk with Libby today and it was so hard to say goodbye. But she was a superstar and let me put her goodbye bow on her collar and let me take some gorgeous photos for her parents. 🥰

Please meet Kylo. He is a beautiful young lab who loves cuddles ❤️
This week I am popping in to see him at lunchtime for a wee, playtime and cuddle 🐾

My last day with Ralph and he was giving me all the poses ❤️
He has been such a wonderful boy and a true pleasure to spend time with.

I have been dog sitting Ralph this week and here are just a few of my fave snaps of what he has been getting up to so far.
You will notice a trend, he loves to nap lol which to be honest has not been a bad thing in this heat recently.

Was reunited with Mr Handsome this week after he has been on his holidays for a couple of weeks.
We took our walk nice and slow in the shade with plenty of sniffing and water breaks.
Plus 2 afternoon pop-in visits to let him out for a wee and a cuddle x

Beautiful betsy on her walks this week.
We have kept our walks shaded and nice and easy. She has been such a good girl and has such a waggy bum.

As the weather is warming up we should be prepared for the signs of heat stroke in our dogs. But with good management during the hot spell we can keep our dogs safe.

🐕‍🦺 Walk early in the morning, or late at night when it's cooler and keep to shaded area's.

🌡Check the pavement temperature - if it's too hot for you, then it's too hot for your dog.

💧 Make sure there is plenty of fresh cool water available.

☀️ Keep your dogs inside in a cool space during the hottest part of the day.

🚗 Don't ever leave your dog in the car.

❌️ Don't pour cold water on your dog, if your dog already has heat stroke this could cause them to go into shock. Keep them in the shade, offer water and pat some cool water on them.

‼️ If you think your dog is suffering with heat stroke call your vet ASAP and they will advise on the next course of action. ‼️

Waking up today to learn Madgy Moo has crossed the rainbow bridge 😥.

She was the sweetest and most gentle girl we had the pleasure of dog sitting.

Our heartfelt condolences to her lovely humans at this really sad time.

2 Soggy 🌧 walks with little miss trouble aka Lola and little miss cheeky aka Libby.
They are both gorgeous girlie's with very different personalities but both so incredibly sweet and loving ❤️

It was a little muddy but the sun was out this morning. He made friends with a 13 month old great dane, well I say friends, I think he may have fallen in love with her a little 😍🤣 I had to convince him away from her with a treat lol

It was a dry but chilly day, however both ladies enjoyed their walks with plenty to sniff and explore. 🌲🌳🐕

Introducing Libby, the newest addition to the Pooch Pal gang. We shall be having fun together 3 times a week 😆 Despite not having the best start in life, she really is the sweetest girl.
We have already had 2 lovely walks and I am looking forward to all the adventures we are going to have together 🐕‍🦺
