Very sad to hear about the sudden passing of Robbie Bartington. I had the pleasure of meeting Robbie at Woodfield Animal Sanctuary just before Christmas where I had been asked to take Christmas doggy pawtraits to help raise money for their cause. She was a very warm, kind and welcoming woman who turned her home into a sanctuary for many unwanted animals and dedicated her life to helping them. There is a link in the comments to make a donation to help support this sanctuary in their time of grief 🙏

Recent landscape photography from Pen y Fan, it is the highest peak in South Wales, situated in Brecon Beacons National Park. At 886 metres above sea-level, it is also the highest British peak south of Cadair Idris in Snowdonia.

St. Fagans Museum of Welsh Life 📸🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
Some moody shots from a dry but overcast day down at one of our family favourite museums.

For those who aren't familiar; St Fagans is an open-air museum in Cardiff chronicling the historical lifestyle, culture, and architecture of the Welsh people. The museum is part of the wider network of Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales.

Caerphilly Castle, South Wales 📸

This medieval castle is the largest in Wales, and the second-largest in Britain, Caerphilly Castle was locked within water defences when it was built in the 13th century.

It has the appearance of some mythical castle floating in an enchanted lake. An effect enhanced by the south-east tower which has been dubbed Wales's very own Leaning Tower (even wonkier than that of Pisa).

The castle was constructed by Gilbert de Clare in the 13th century as part of his campaign to maintain control of Glamorgan, and saw extensive fighting between Gilbert, his descendants, and the native Welsh rulers.

Lovely afternoon at Woodfield Animal Sanctuary taking Christmas photo's for families, children and doggy's, surrounded by the wonderful rescued farm animals in our own little Christmas stable. Santa even made an appearance handing sweeties out all the children 🎅🏻🎁 I'll be back there tomorrow 11am till 3pm doing it all again, free entry, lots of animals and Christmas craft stalls to visit ...
