I’m really happy with how these look! 😁

I also had no idea how rare and valuable this particular T-Shirt might be! I’ve always loved picking up band tees 😋

Making small changes can create big results!

These 2 pairs of All Saints jeans had been listed for longer than I’d have wanted, so rather than continuously dropping the price or changing around the title, I created a bundle for the pair.

They sold for the full asking price within a day!

Very pleased with that one 😁💪🏻

Following on from Wednesday’s bad buyer experience, today I received the parcel pictured below, and was surprised to find my jeans had been returned in good condition! I honestly would’ve rather had a large vegetarian pizza 😅

This afternoon I had the most bizarre, frustrating, and upsetting experience with a buyer in my time selling on the platform!

It’s days like this where you lose your trust in selling on the platform, when you’ve put in a lot of time and effort for eBay to not repay that in helping to protect their sellers.

The first 2 photos below show the title, photos, and description of a pair of jeans that a buyer bought last week, which were received today. The 3rd and 4th show the messages that he sent to me upon receiving the item. He then quickly opened an “Item Not As Described” return case (5th photo), followed by leaving a negative feedback (6th photo) shortly afterwards.

The reasons for the INAD return case and the subsequent negative feedback are categorically untrue, as anyone can see for themselves from the first 2 photos, I also noted how the reason for return the item is different to the reason for leaving negative feedback, which surely is a big red flag.

The final message I sent to the buyer is as follows:
“In over 1,600 transactions I have never had to deal with this. The negative feedback you have left is untrue, the evidence for this is that both the tag size and actual measurements are shown in the listing photos, item specifics, and the listing description. The INAD return case is also untrue, the evidence is that all of the photos are of 1 pair of jeans, and the wording in the description clearly states “for sale is a pair of Levi’s jeans”, any terminology indicating that more than 1 pair is listed are not used. I have contacted eBay with evidence to disprove both of these claims. I’m just a guy who likes selling good quality jeans at affordable prices, and my feedback along with a repeat customer base reflects that. I try to make all aspects of a transaction as simple as possible for customers, by making my listings as detailed as possible, packing items as secure as possible, and shipping them as quickly as possible. If I can make my listings clearer in the case of a discrepancy between the tag size and measured size then I absolutely will, but personally I believe what I offer is a great service all-round and I won’t let this negative transaction stop me from doing that. Christian”

The buyer responded:
“What a load of trollope”

So what have eBay done about it so far?
Nothing

What are eBay going to do about it?
Look to remove the negative feedback once the item has been returned and refunded, and I can report the buyer and dispute the reason for returning once the item has been returned.

What should eBay do about it?
Stop the false INAD return case before it costs me more money in postage labels, remove the false negative feedback the buyer left, and ban the buyer for his actions.

I ended May with 99 sales, which I was very happy with considering my store was in “time away mode” for a combined 13 days in the month, but now it’s time to catch-up on listing and posting for the time I’ve missed! 😅
