So a lovely hour at the Allotment! We pulled our onions, collected Raspberries and strawberries, and then we dug up our potatoes! 🥔
And then walked back to preschool!! Where Bridget will cook them for a small taste later and some for after school tea!! Can’t wait!! 😋

Hernerd is nearly ready! The children who took part in designing Hernerd have each been given a pass to go and see him and his friends in the monster trail at Coates English Willow. These passes are at preschool and will be given out at the end of term. How exciting well done all and a massive thankyou to Coates English Willow for holding such a great competition ❤️🩷🧡💛💚💙

Dear Parents and Carers
This is the activities programme for the first two weeks of Holiday Club. More information on future weeks will follow soon.
We are open for any child from 1yr to 13yrs from any setting/school and EYE funding can be used as payment.
If you would just like to do the specific activities you can book just a morning or afternoon. Or anything you need from 730am-5.30 pm
If you are here for 5 or more hours you will receive a FREE LUNCH!!, just as those who come at 7.30 or stay till 5.30 receive breakfast and tea. Although you may bring a packed lunch if you prefer.
Book soon to avoid disappointment for the activities you like.

We walked to the allotment this morning to get some potatoes for our afternoon snack. Potatoes that the children planted, watered and picked. We also walked through Mandy's sweat pea arch 💐 the smell was amazing! We found some mint and lavender to smell along the way too.

Thank you so much to everyone who helped, supplied goods, bought items, and played games at our fundraising stall today! We raised just over £300...
The stall was so busy that we only managed to get a couple of photos of some glitter tattoos that we also had on our stall.

Our monster is one of 12 that has been chosen for the summer willow trail at Coates English Willow 🤩🤩 well done to all of the children at willowset for your amazing imaginations and teamwork. Hernerd is a very happy monster, and he looks forward to seeing you all on the trail with his other monster friends ❤️

What a busy day! We did spanish with Mercedes, joined the school for a D-day service, had cheese and crackers in the park, followed by a play. Then we sat around and copied poppies that we have in the forest school area 🖤❤️

We are registered with the charity commission as an educational charity, whilst also being regulated by Ofsted, who have rated us as ‘Outstanding’ following their last three inspections! We are also a member of the Pre-school Learning Alliance. We are open between 9 and 3, Monday to Friday.
Sun Up Sun Down Club
The Sun Up, Sun Down Club is in a rural area that will serve families from a wide range of backgrounds including Farming and Basket Makers.
We are committee run club and an off shoot to the preschool.
We are a registered charity and operate on school site.
The Sun Up, Sun Down Club is open Monday to Friday
The Sun Up: Early morning club for before Preschool or School from 7:30 – 9.00am,
Children are offered a breakfast of cereals, toast and toppings, make your own muesli, and fruit and yogurt, accompanied by fruit juice and milk. Hot breakfasts are also offered on some days.
Breakfast is served from 8 -8:30am. Children are then able to explore activities of their choice in a relaxed environment. The children, if of school age, are then escorted to the school at 8.55am, and all the preschool children get ready for a fun day.
The Sun Down: After School Club from 3pm for Preschoolers and from 3.15 for school aged children who are collected from the playground at the back of the school.
There will be a light tea provided between 4:00 and 4:15pm.
We close at 6pm Monday to Friday.
Moor Fun Club
We also run a very busy and fun holiday club The Moor Fun Club, for children in our local community, outlying villages and towns to be able to access. The club is open 5 days a week from 7.30 am till 6pm during school holidays (apart from the week between Christmas and New Year, and one of the weeks at Easter)
We offer free flow fun for children from 2-14 years and each day have specific activities for children to enjoy and engage in including sports, gardening, arts, cooking and roller skating to name but a few. All of this is in a safe rich enabling environment where children can explore and make new friends.
We even sometimes go on trips to the Zoo!
