For a bride and groom, waiting for their wedding photos can feel like an eternity. It's not uncommon for photographers to take several weeks, or even months, to deliver the final images from a wedding. The expected delivery date should be clearly outlined during pre-wedding consultations to manage expectations.

However, this wait can be difficult for the excited couple who are eager to relive their special day. To help bridge this gap, I always provide a selection of the best images as a preview, usually by the next day. This way, the couple has some beautiful photos to enjoy and share while they wait for the complete set.

Star Wars Day was upon us, and as Master Obi-Wan Kenobi one said, "May the 4th be with you". Well ok, not quite... but you see where I'm going with this, right? The date was May 4th, 2024, and while "the force" might not have been with us, the weather certainly was. For the past two-weeks, the wedding of Danielle + Martin looked destined to be a washout.

I don't know how, but the wedding was nicely sandwiched between two less than favourable days, weather wise. It was a hot sunny day, which is not to be complained about in England, but there wasn't a cloud in the sky and the lighting from the sun was HARSH...a photographers nightmare. ASH WILSON ripping it up with at the last night. is one of my favourite guitarists right now and it was fantastic to see him play up close and personal in such an intimate venue.

It was so great to see and hear the again, too. That's a thing of beauty, as are the sounds Ash coaxes out of the thing.

‘Stand Together Against Cancer: The Concert For Matt Long’ series announced for May & June 2024.

Catfish lead vocalist and guitarist Matt Long was diagnosed with bowel cancer a year ago, and recent scans revealed that the cancer had spread to his liver and stomach lining. Matt's only hope is flying to America for treatment not available on the NHS.

The Concert For Matt Long series of benefit concerts takes place in May and June 2024 with shows in Kent, Staines, Luton, Darlington and Milton Keynes.

Robert Jon & The Wreck doing what they do best at the Thekla Bristol last night.

The whole band was phenomenal, each and every member blew me away with their skill and proficiency on their instruments. The 400 audience members were more than in agreement.

This is my joint top show of the year so far, and I can't see that being topped!

Having said all that, I didn't expect anything else, these boys NEVER let you down!

My first time in the field filming with the Sony alpha A7IV last night went pretty well I would say.

This was the start of a new project for MNPR Magazine. Watch this space.

I think today is going to be a Dan Patlansky kind of a day as his UK tour kicks off tonight in Glasgow.

I'll be seeing him in London on the last date of his tour, and that'll be the next outing with my camera.

I wouldn't say the Taunton Vale Harriers Pony Club kept me on my toes this weekend, but I reckon the 7787 images I came back with would disagree though!

What a fantastic three days it was chasing ponys around with my camera at Pontispool Equine Sports Centre for the Taunton Vale Harriers Pony Club Summer Camp 2022. Such a fantastic team, and what a fantastic bunch of children. A great weekend all round.... thanks for having me. Oh, and Tuffy's lasagne is the thing legends are made of! 👌
