Thoroughly enjoying putting our new Mavic 3 through its paces to better understand what it is capable of, and how it handles.
Made the most of a dark night (cloudy sky, low light pollution) to capture the festive scenes at
There was plenty of detail to be found in the darkness that were able to be brought back, and the highlights really bring the image to life!

Popped up to Barmouth, North Wales!

Popped over to Hampton Hill for a coffee, ventured down to the Thames to see if there was anything interesting. Found this beautiful little...thing, not a temple or a mausoleum.
Drone very handy for this sort of shot otherwise I'd have to be stood up on a swan shaped pedalo and probably fall in! 😂🦢🌊

Whilst out hunting for pretzels I came across Teddington Lock and couldn't resist a quick flight to capture the picturesque spot. The striking lines across the River Thames are stunning!

The clear blue waters of Scalea are irresistible for top-down photography with so much to see just under the surface!

We've moved from Cropani on the coast of the Ionian Sea to Scalea on the coast of the Tyrrhenian.
This means we can't enjoy sunrise but the sunsets are pretty special.
We love that Scalea is blessed not only by warm blue waters, but it also backs onto the stunning, mountainous Pollino National Park - the largest in Italy.

Cannella Beach is an absolutely stunning location on the Calabrian coastline. The warm, cinnamon coloured sand is unlike anything I've found elsewhere!
There's also this photogenic little harbour nestled on the west end of the beach 🛥️
That classic thought as you set a pre-dawn alarm of 'Is it worth the loss of sleep?'
Yes, every time yes.

We've headed down to Calabria for a few weeks to relax and bask in some proper summer sunshine.
Olive groves as far as the eye can see, enchanting golden hours and no shortage of interesting things to capture! 📷

Classic Football Pitch
Making the most of a rainy Friday but putting together the footage we took at the iconic tourist hotspot Cheddar Gorge.
Definitely took a bit of work to balance out the harsh exposures that the crisp midday sun blessed us with!
The windtunnel effect of the gorge also made flying a bit challenging but the Mavic Air 2 handles it like a champ 🦾🌪️

Last night was the first clear one in what felt like an eternity and was too good an opportunity to pass up.
Here is Esher Church lit up and looking spectacular and the east end of the high street looking toward London in the distance. I love the red lights dotting the far skyline.

Great to pop into London's most central climbing wall this week to get a quick snap of their roped walls.
12m climbing walls in the very middle of London!
Tall walls and a very tight space made for some tricky positioning and interesting rotor vortices for the drone but it was rock steady throughout 🦾
Always practice a shot before going for the real thing to prevent standing there like a plum!
Lovely little ActiveTrack shot along a quiet road in the Surrey countryside.
Looking forward to getting over to the West Country tomorrow to make the most of this glorious weekend weather 🌞
