An example would be if an Aquarian cancelled a date last minute because a friend or family member is stuck and needs help. It is not meant as a personal attack and it's not a bad thing. This stone is extremely powerful and is very protective with a high spiritual vibration. It guards against psychic attack and transmutes energy into love. Amethyst blocks geopathic stress and negative environment energies. It also has strong cleansing and healing powers and can also enhance spiritual awareness.

Amethyst is one of the most spiritual stones and encourages spiritual wisdom. It opens intuition and enhances psychic gifts but is also an excellent stone for meditation and scrying.

Amethyst is a very calming stone and can be very beneficial to someone who finds it hard to relax, or calm their mind. It can also be used to treat insomnia and bring restful sleep with his relaxing influence.

So, how do I use or wear Amethyst? Luckily, this stone can be worn or placed as appropriate, depending on what it is being used for. To stimulate the third eye, simply place it there during meditation. Clusters and geodes can be placed in an environment and single points can be used in healing. When using a single point Amethyst, place the point in towards you to draw in energy, or outwards to draw energy off. It can be very beneficial to the wearer when Amethyst is worn over the throat or heart, thanks to its calming effect. When being used for insomnia or sleep disturbances, place the Amethyst under the pillow of the user.

Be aware, that Amethyst can fade in the sunlight so keeping this stone out of direct sunlight will allow it to remain colourful for longer.
