A local commercial client in a leased building, had a door split out its hinge. As it's a fire rated door, and matches probably another 50 doors, it needed to be saved...

A bespoke commission completed today, to replace the client's original wooden cover with a mesh steel cover with access panel.

From awful to amazing!

A client is having these converted to take Tea Lights or candles, so they can be used without having to dig huge channels in the wall.

Thought we'd clean them up for her before they go back...only 4 more to go!

When the inspiration takes a long time to fruit, but it's really worthwhile!

The stool was a lockdown impulse purchase by Anna, but required a new seat, was superseded and finally got repurposed...

In November I managed to get the second of the garden furniture rebuilds complete.

All the roof slats were rotten, and the whole body slewed from side to side and front to back.

Emergency repairs to an old lawnmower deck...

Should get through the season but not much more...

The latest repair project is a Kenwood Chef 700 series which 'just stopped working'.
New brushes on order, will get new brushes and new capacitor. Resistor checks out ok.

So the first part of the commission has gone back to its owner complete.
Quite pleased with it, though some debate as to which way to face the chairs!

Delighted to have been given a commission to bring back to life and love, some lovely oak garden furniture.

The bricks were hand made by a craftsman in Ironbridge, laid by me and then the top constructed over months. Most of the timber is reclaimed.
Approximately 400 hours.
