Sorry we have been MIA on here for a little while. Trying to juggle the business with children, our day jobs and generally keeping house means something has to give and that’s usually social media!

We are ever grateful for all your orders though, please do keep them coming 🙏🏼

We thought it might be nice to show our faces for a change 👋🏼

We are Lauren (left) and Fran (right) “The Little Gray Hare” derives from both of our maiden names - the perfect fit.

Our little business first came to life back in early 2021; both on maternity leave and during one of the many lockdowns, we wanted something to keep us busy. But life got in the way and we didn’t really get going until a year later. There is so much to learn with embroidery (we were both novices) and we made many mistakes along the way!

We first met in summer 2016 through our husbands on a day date at Flamingo Land🎢
A wonderful friendship was made right there and then. ❤️

We all relocated to North Yorkshire a few years later and so now we are basically neighbours too. 🏠

Being a military wife can be an extremely lonely place at times and having each other nearby has been a godsend to us both.

Between us, we have 3 children all under 3, which makes for a lot of fun when trying to work around them. 🫣✂️

Lauren is a Beauty Therapist and Fran is an Insurance Broker - we both work part time and so we fit The Little Gray Hare around our lives but we love every minute of it.

We wanted to say a huge thank you to everybody who has supported us on this journey - whether it be placing an order, sharing our page or even a like/comment. It means the world and it’s what keeps us going ❤️
