Lovely little install for a lovely little motor home. Pioneer Apple CarPlay head unit with hands free and DAB. Also, the customer requested an additional speaker installed near the side door, to listen to whilst sitting outside in the sun. All with a ported enclosure to make sure the sound remains crisp and not lost in the storage space beneath. Need any in-car tech installed? Feel free to reach out and ask! Quiet on social media, however the opposite is true IRL. Been so rushed off my feet recently I have been so slack with remembering to take photos and post on socials. Water leak repair for this Ford Focus: common fault on a lot of Ford’s unfortunately. The original gasket around the boot vents perishes and allows water to seep into the boot! Seals repaired with sikaflex seems to be the best cure for it.

Close call for this customer! Wet timing belt replacement on a Peugeot 208. For those who don’t know, if a timing belt breaks chances are your engine is kaput (for most vehicles). Worried about your timing belt or chain? Give me a call and I’d be happy to advise whether it needs doing or not 😄

Is your vehicle revving higher and faster than usual, yet the power doesn’t seem to be all there? Chances are your clutch is slipping! Don’t let your clutch get as bad as this, give me a call before you get stranded!

Another belated post! Timing chain replacement on this Citroen C3. For those who don’t know, these engines can be troublesome. Plastic timing chain guides break down and fail; causing chain rattle, debris blocking oil-ways in the VVC solenoids and oil control valves, thus giving all sorts of weird VVC issues. New timing chain fitted, all debris cleaned out of the engine entirely and she’s good to go.

So after thinking it’s been a few days since I last posted on social, turns out it’s actually almost been 2 weeks! Rushed off my feet is an understatement! Here’s a nice little job I did for Coast Computers, Computer Repair & Upgrade Solutions. Brake pads all round and rear discs. Another happy customer who has rebooked more future work with me 👍

Another extremely busy week for me! I’d like to thank everyone for being patient when it comes to me replying and to ask you all to please continue doing so! I am only 1 person, so if you don’t get an instant response; I’m either driving, or under a car and will get back to you as soon as I can!

Here’s just one of many jobs completed this week: Ford Mondeo making a horrible screeching noise, found the culprit to be the exhaust manifold to turbo gasket. New one on with all new hardware and the customer no longer has to listen to that horrendous noise 👍

Here’s an example of one of many services I offer! Customer wanted an aftermarket head unit fitted to his Nissan Qashqai and I’m happy to oblige! This particular unit came with a reverse camera, Bluetooth handsfree and GPS. Need any in-car entertainment (ICE) fitted or know anyone that does? Send me a PM!

Week 1 done! I’d like to take a minute to thank all of my customers for the continued support. This week marks the first week of me leaving full time employment and being fully self employed, it has been absolutely mental. I must say I am loving every second of it, especially working for customers like Movesouthwest! Roll on the rest of the venture!

One from a few days ago, injector seal replacement on this 1.6 HDI Peugeot Expert. And the customer benefitted from a loyalty discount, as the vehicle was recently serviced by me also. Remember if you book a full service with me it’s 10% off all labour and parts for 12 months!

Top mount replacement on this MK5 Golf recently. Arrived at the vehicle to find that the top shock nut was loose, most likely caused by not being tightened correctly, allowing the shocks to move where they should be fixed and eventually wear through the top mount completely. Luckily the customer was wary of the noises it was making and gave me a call. Please please don’t ignore any unusual noises coming from your car, as if this wasn’t caught early it could have been catastrophic!

Got called out to this non-start CRV, customer tried jump starting to no avail. After checking the car over, I found that the main ignition fuse was blown due to the car being jump started with the leads the wrong way round. New fuse was ordered as it was a Honda specific part, and away she went, luckily with no damage to any other electrics!

DPF replacement for this Ford Mondeo. Customer was having DPF issues and after having it cleaned multiple times, it was time to bite the bullet and buy new. Removed, replaced and all systems reset all on the driveway. 👍

Merry Christmas to all my customers and followers and I hope it’s been a good one for you all! Rear pads done on this lovely Golf R on Christmas Eve for a customer last minute so they were able to use the car over the Christmas period! Taking bookings from the 6th Jan feel free to get in touch!
