Unboxed at Refract Festival 27 and 18 July
Don't miss the free performances of Unboxed, a explosive work by Linden Dance, at Refract Festival. 🧨 A mixed-race man and a white woman set themselves in opposition to two giant wooden cubes, in a physical representation of their battle with prejudice and judgement. The work explores how bias and judgement can affect the way we view ourselves and the relationships we form, moving towards a place of understanding and togetherness that brings hope for the future. The toxicity of the subject matter reverberates in the pulsing soundtrack and the performers’ athletic physicality which draws on Afro-fusion and contemporary movement styles. Simply incredible. 📅27 and 28 July 2.30 and 5.30pm 🎟Free, no need to book. https://www.refract.org.uk/unboxed #UKSPF
