* They’re not actually just stubborn, instead clever enough to stand their ground and decide whether a situation is safe 👌🏼
* They form deep lifelong bonds with other donkeys 💛
* Their cute large ears not only give them excellent hearing but help them stay cool 🙌🏼
* They are sometimes used as guardians for sheep and goats, defending them against dogs, coyotes, foxes and bobcats 💪🏼

Just like that it’s the end of the Easter holidays for our littles! Back to traditional learning in the school classroom tomorrow! Hoping they’ve learnt a little over the holidays… about farm animals, construction via sand castle building, history in London, how to feed birds, fire making in forest school, the fun to be had staying away on a football tournament and how eating too much chocolate can make you feel a bit ill 😜😆 Hope you’ve enjoyed (or continue to enjoy) your Easter holidays 🤗

Today we visited a farm in Norfolk and fed lambs, calves and goats 🤍 A very spring time, lovely Easter holiday experience, enjoyed equally by children and adults alike 🤗 We all wanted to take one of the adorable newborn frolicking lambs home!

We are both in the process of updating our little ones’ rooms. I (Jo) have recently finished some house renovations and all three children have switched rooms! Lucy’s boys are not so little anymore and some of their rooms need a bit of an update to reflect their changing needs and style!

This year there is a focus on equality today for a sustainable tomorrow 🌱 Empowering women and girls to have a voice and be equal players in decision making related to climate change and sustainability 🌍

As two sisters working together, we made the decision to do our bit as a business to be sustainable ~ to make all our paper, printing and packaging as eco-friendly as possible. But we will always strive to do more…🌳💚

Had a lovely half term day out to today - it’s home to 200 native British animals, past and present. Otters (our highlight), red squirrels, bison, wolves… so many!

The littles LOVED spotting all the animals. I loved spotting all the animals. It’s so special and uplifting being up close to them, particularly in the most amazing February sunshine ☀️ We’re now back home battening down the hatches ahead of the storm tomorrow 🌬

It’s the start of the half term holiday for our six. The weeks since the Christmas break seem to have flown by!

It’s been a bit wet and windy where we are today so we’ve had a quiet one inside playing games, Lego and watching a film (Life Of Pi - so good and enjoyed by all!). Here’s hoping for a few brighter days this coming week!
