We hope that everyone is safe and sound following Storm Dudley yesterday, but as you all know the worst is yet to come as we are going to be in the pathway of the ferocious Storm Eunice overnight tonight and all day tomorrow.

The Met Office have issued an Amber Warning for Wind across the southeast.

Our fences and trees unfortunately always bear the brunt of windy storms, especially those as severe as Eunice is set to be.

Should you be unlucky and experience storm damage to your property, Green Oak are here to ease the burden.

Some food for thought this weekend since you'll mostly likely be outside watching fireworks at some point or another!

Lawn vs Patio... to turf or not to turf?!

When we think of gardens we mostly imagine grass, but we also like to cherish those lovely warm evening we get in the summer (though it may not feel like they exist right now!) but barbequing and eating outside.

Natural stone paving is a brilliant way to give your garden the on-trend makeover it deserves, without being left with a high-maintenance, demanding outdoor space!

Did you know, that for the average size garden in the UK, the resident will spend an hour EVERY fortnight for 30 weeks of the year cutting the grass?!

Patios? Dependant on the size, a few hours of jet washing once/twice a year.

Equally, adding more green to an area is always sure to brighten up the space... BUT you have to be ready for the upkeep (or let us do it for you 😎)

Our tree team had the pleasure of working on the stunning Mayor's Office building for Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council today.

We are lucky enough to maintain this climbing ivy growth annually, and love that we are trusted with keeping such an important building looking its best whilst it waits for its staff to return from home-working in the pandemic!

A thorough tidy up and good shaping of the Hedera helix around the windows and the area is looking gorgeous once again.

Reminder that we don't just tackle big trees - we will take on some hedges or ivy any day - so satisfying! 🌳🌲
