Just a quick update from me—I’ve been out of action this week with some kidney troubles and had to spend a bit of time in hospital. This has meant I haven’t been at the markets selling cheese lately, but I’m hoping to be back very soon! (Not much can stop me from all things cheese)

Sadly, won’t be open this Friday evening, but I can’t wait to get back to it and see you all again soon. Thanks so much for your patience and support! And thanks to those who’ve messaged to see how I’m getting on. See you soon! 🧀

A busy cheese schedule this week! Very much looking forward to being at the Show this Saturday and seeing some new faces at the Wolverton Street market on Sunday.

Not forgetting will be open Friday 10-2pm and in the evening 7-10.30pm, and Saturday 10-4pm. Last weekend was the busiest we’ve been! Thanks to all those who dropped by for a toastie, cheeseboard or to pick up some cheese from the counter.

Four months this Saturday that we launched . It has absolutely flown by!

It’s been brilliant to see lots of your faces popping in to pick up some cheese, enjoying a dine-in cheese board or even joining us for one of our Cheese Tasting Evenings.

Since launching we’ve expanded the menu (you can now enjoy toasties), hired some new cheese lovers to join the gang and have started to host dedicated cheese evenings. It often feels like a ‘pinch me moment’ when I think back to my first-ever market stall during lockdown 🥹

We’ve got loads more to come, including our Halloween Cheese Night next month. We’re so excited and incredibly grateful for everyone who has supported us

We’ve been busy at cheese HQ this week! Our second little babybel has made her appearance 😌

We’ll be taking a few days off to spend time together as a family, but please keep an eye on socials for when we’ll be back.

Goodbye Finley 👋🏻🥲

It’s time for him to fly the cheese counter as he is off to university. It’s fair to say that Cheese On Towcest’ wouldn’t be the same without you.

Finley started with us in May 2023 at Winslow market. Initially I thought he was a quiet lad, but how wrong I’d be. Finley has established himself as a favourite with you, with his quick wit and ice cold return volley of cheese puns and sarcasm.

He’s built up a great cheese knowledge through listening to all of your requests and questions and it’s been “grate” to see him grow into his role as apprentice cheesecutter.

As he embarks on his next chapter at Liverpool university studying music, I would like to take this chance to bid him farewell & good luck as we recap some of his best bits:

- At Buckingham Show, he got onto TikTok for the first time
- He discovered his love for Garlic Yarg and what to call a “cheese slicer” thing
- Not just the cheese he’s learnt to cut, he lost his lockdown locks
- He flew solo at Olney Market for the first time
- Embarked on cheesemaking to really immerse himself in the business

And all that’s left to do now is wave him off. He’ll probably be back during the holidays like most students tend to do when they’re broke and hungry!
