I am really exited to announce the re-launch of Tommy's youth club. Which we had to close down due to Covid. St Thomas Church Brambles Farm and Thorntree is starting a FREE! Pop up Park Youth Space based in Thorntree Park tomorow in partnership with Youth Focus North East who do some amazing work with young people. There will be a range of activities for the young people to get involved in. So if your an old or new face we would love to see you. See attached flyer for ages and times. Could I please ask that you bring a carer or adult with you for the first time so that a consent form can be completed. Look forward to seing you there!
I would like to thank Janet Thompson, Susan Binks, Wendy from daisy's Florist and Anne Salter for their generous gifts and support. We cooked, delivered and served 25 Christmas day dinners for those less fortunate than ourselves at David Sibley cafe, Ronies at TS5.
You can achieve much more when you work in partnership with other organisations.
Thanks to my amazing team for helping put together and deliver 95 Christmas Advent activity packs today to over 200 children and young people living in our community. (Brambles farm Thorntree)Also for the generous donations we have received to make this happen and to our amazing councilor Janet Thompson.

I just want to say a massive thank you to Together Middlesbrough&Cleveland for providing the funding to make the Eco shop and kids club happen during October half term. We was able to support lots of children, young people and families in our community. Also to Kids Kabin, Saint Cuthberts Ormesby, AnneSalter from co-op, pam Cooper, Schroptomist, active tees Valley, kinship carers and many others including a fantastic team of helpers.

Just to let you know that will be at the Charwood Centre tomorow in Thorntree 11.00-1.00 giving out fresh eggs to people living in Brambles farm Thorntree. Thanks to lintz hall farm for their generous donation today and also to David Sibley. If you could let me know rather than just turning up that would be great. This is due to the current restrictions. You can fo this either by contacting me either on here, phone or messenger. π
Met with lots of amazing families at the eco shop over the past few days. Many of whom was for the first time. Really looking forward to getting to you all better. Also thanks to all the organisations for your donations and to a fantastic team. The Eco shop is still on tomorow and Saturday 10.00-1.00 and there's still 10 minute slots available for people living in and around Brambles Farm Thorntree.
The children really enjoyed the craft club we ran today at Charwood Centre They did some fantastic art work, clay models and made bird feeders. Thanks to the team and to Kids Kabin. Also to all those who donated.
We are delivering the food parcels/activity packs now. It would be great if you could post or tag your painted pebbles to this St Thomas church page. We are really looking forward to seing as many as possible.
St Thomas church will be sending up to 70 food parcels out tomorrow between 12.00-3.00. For people living in Brambles Farm Thorntree. Along with 160 activity packs with paint, brushes and pebbles for the kids to paint and decorate with instructions. To write on the back of the pebbles. St Thomas Church, take a picture and then send it to our page. Then hide them around the estate, if found re-hide. For those who are already on our list you will automatically recieve a parcel. If you don't need one then please message me. The parcels will include recipes and ingredients for tuna pasta Salad. With the option to make as a family via a zoom session with Kids Kabin. Plus quorn have generously donated ingredients and a recipe. Can i just say a massive thanks to togethermiddlesbrough&Cleveland. Without their financial support this wouldn't happen also to an amazing team. Looking forward to seing some fantastic creative pebbles. π
Time goes by so quickly. Can't believe its been a year since I started to go out into Bramblesfarm Thorntree with Fr Terry and his amazing coffee van giving out free coffee/hot chocolate with Gods love. Hopefully we will be back out their in September.
