I'm now qualified to support people experiencing symptoms of menopause 🥰

Not gonna lie, this feedback got me! Ask any counsellor, knowing that you have made any kind of positive difference to someone is just the best feeling. Counselling is hard for most people to commit to and it's so difficult to face certain emotions head on, but I had the privilege to support this young person through it ✨

Why do we find it so much easier and often much more comfortable to believe the negative thoughts and beliefs that pop into our heads? 'I can't', 'I'm not good enough', 'I'm not strong enough'. If you notice them, challenge them! Don't believe everything you think 🥰

Imagine if every young person had at least one adult they felt safe to turn to when they're struggling.

Oestrogen decline with age has a lot to answer for!! 😭 So many people that I have been talking to recently have been experiencing menopausal symptoms and I've been questioning whether I too am heading this way! So how do I approach this? With another Diploma of course 🤣 I'll soon be qualified to teach and support people through menopause 💜

It's A level results day! Best of luck to my younger clients that will be collecting results. However, If things don't go to plan, there is always another route to get to where you want to be. It's the effort and the courage to have made it to this point that shows what you are made of 💞

A message to everyone getting their exam results today.

Having unwanted images shared online can feel scary, and it can leave you feeling worried or even ashamed. But it’s not your fault.

It’s against the law for anyone to share a sexual image or video of someone who’s under 18…and now there is help to remove any sexual image or video of you that’s online.

Remember you are not alone – it’s vital that you share what has happened to you with trusted adults at your school or at home or by contacting us for support.

Love this. I used to think that if I hadn't finished work feeling exhausted and burnt out, I hadn't worked hard enough. I now realise I work better and give more when I'm taking care of myself and creating boundaries 💕

We’re meant to be human beings, not humans doing, yet we’re constantly just trying to get things done, to accumulate more possessions, to achieve power and success.

But we can reframe our perspective of what matters and focus more on simply being—on sitting, listening, noticing—to improve our happiness and satisfaction in life.

A few things that help me be more present are spending time with friends and family, journaling, meditating, and going for a walk.
