*** Worried about Diastasis Recti ***

During pregnancy, the growing uterus stretches the muscles in the abdomen. This can cause the two large parallel bands of muscles that meet in the middle of the abdomen to separate.
Diastasis recti might cause a bulge in the middle of the abdomen where the two muscles separate.
There are some great exercises to help abdominal separation, but please avoid traditional crunches as this causes pressure pushing organs outwards and making the separation worse!
Use inner core exercises to bring the re**us abdominals together! Avoid sit ups, crunches, bicycles, any deep twisting motions and planks on the toes!
Start with slow and controlled heel drops and progress as and when the separation feels smaller.

Drink plenty of 💦 water!
The symptoms of morning sickness result in the loss of fluids and electrolytes from your body.
Once your body is depleted of water, it shows the symptoms and signs of being dehydrated. It is vital for you to recognize them.
Do not neglect if you are thirsty, listen to your body, and drink water. Maintain a routine of drinking water often, at least one glass an hour.
Fatigue caused due to dehydration might bring down the energy levels, making you feel dull and lethargic.

Take extra care to keep yourself hydrated when performing strenuous exercises or spending a long time in hot weather.
If you are finding it tough to keep yourself hydrated, talk to your doctor and get the right advice.💦💦

Squats are are fantastic exercise and are very effective for building lower body strength. 🙌
There are many different variations of squats. They can be done with no equipment. You can also use dumbbells or kettlebells. 💪
It is perfectly safe for pregnant women to perform squats. They offer many benefits for both you and your baby-to-be during pregnancy, labor, and after delivery.🥰
Squatting during labor and delivery may help open your pelvis, assisting in baby’s descent. This is why squats are an important exercise to practice during pregnancy.🤰❤️
