Naomi’s Kitchen Cook a Long

Naomi’s Kitchen is BACK!! This half term we look a little different as we want to support your family as a whole. You will be able to sign up for ONE delivery which will have enough for THREE different meals over THREE days to feed your WHOLE family. Although we look a little different, our program’s focus is still on your child/children learning about food, cooking, and kitchen safety. There will still be fresh food delivered, recipes and videos to follow along with! We are specifically targeting the families in the villages east of Louth. We are excited to be supported by the Local Coop as one of your local causes this year and are able to support 75 families. All allergies and dietary styles are catered for! Did you know that Naomi’s Garden’s Holiday club for 11-16 year olds is fast approaching?!

We have a variety of out door activities organised from 19-23 December. Sessions start at 3pm through until 9pm Monday to Wednesday and 9am to 3pm Thursday and Friday.

We are aware some schools in the area don’t break up until Tuesday 20th so feel free to come along once you are home!!!

Places are available for
children who receive free school meals, but also:

children assessed as being in need, at risk or vulnerable
young carers
looked-after children or previously looked after children
children with an EHC (education, health and care) plan
children who have low attendance rates at school or who are at risk of exclusion
children living in areas of high deprivation or from low-income households who are not in receipt of free school meals
elective home educated children
youth offenders
Ukrainian and Afghanistan refugees

Hello! Many of you have used Naomi’s Kitchen before in the school holidays. We have loved getting to know so many of you. We are excited to say

WE ARE ONE OF THE COOP LOCAL CAUSES THIS YEAR!!!

Naomi’s Kitchen in partnership with The Kings Church in the Marshes and the COOP have launched a food bank for the villages. We know there are a few already established in Louth, but we felt it was important to set one up in the villages too.

To start we will be open on a WEDNESDAY. This will increase in the next few weeks to being open Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

You can message us on MONDAY 5pm to arrange collection on WEDNESDAY. We will need to know how many are in your family and if you have any intolerances too.

💚NAOMI’S KITCHEN DATES FOR SUMMER HOLIDAYS!!💚 We are launching our dates Tuesday 30th of August to the 2nd of September!! PLEASE NOTE PRIORITY IS BEING GIVEN TO THOSE CHILDREN WHO ARE LIVING IN MANBY AND GRIMOLDBY AND SURROUNDING VILLAGES. 💚

For those who are new to what we do: we deliver bags of fresh ingredients to your doorstep for YOUR CHILDREN to cook a nutritious lunch at home while watching an online video released online. This is a FREE initiative. We believe every child should be able to access the most nutritional food every single day regardless of background and location. Your child will get to grips with new ingredients and kitchen skills while growing in confidence in the kitchen. We are so excited to be back!!! The link to register is BELOW! Hi everyone. It’s been a little while since there has been a post on this page! I hope term time is going well for your families. ❤️Just a little reminder that although there isn’t currently a roll out, Naomi’s Kitchen is very much still here for anyone who is in need. There’s a lot of extra financial strain for some of the families in our community of Manby and Grimoldby.

There has been a cut to universal credits, utility prices have gone up and also there is difficulty with fuel.

You. Are. Not. Alone.

If anyone is struggling to feed your children please drop me a message. Don’t struggle alone. If you are outside of Manby and Grimoldby I can put you in to touch with wonderful organisations who can help you out too. ❤️

I know we haven’t quite finished the week yet but I have to say a HUGE thank you to this wonderful lady, Lorraine. She has helped me every single day this week for HOURS of chopping, measuring, bagging, slicing, organising and LAUGHING. I could not have done this week without her or our other precious volunteers.

Naomi’s Kitchen is fully run by volunteers who believe in your children as much as I do!! Between us we will have prepared and delivered 575 meals this week! That’s ALOT of ingredients and ALOT of miles.

I will be giving everyone a shout out tomorrow but for now I’ll just leave this gorgeous photo right here of our wonderful Lorraine. THANK YOU GIRL!!! 🥰🥰🥰

Hi lovely everyone! We have something NEW and very exciting to share…

‘Taste and See’ is a week of outdoor activities for young people aged 11-14 yrs who are from around the areas of Manby and Grimoldby. All activities will be led be experienced and qualified staff working alongside local businesses and organisations.

Starting at 9am and finishing at 4pm, both from Bowen House, Manby Park. A packed lunch is provided, please inform us of any allergies or dietary requirements. The cost is £3 per day.

We also have something a little special along the same lines for any children with sensory processing difficulties, ADHD or autism. Please drop a message if you would like any more info on the sensory taste and see!!
